So here is a little back story: Ren had medical issues with pain to the point where he was bedbound for a good 23 hours a day. The doctors were sure it was all in his head and that he was mentally ill. He was given heavy medication for said issues, which made everything worse. Turned out he contracted Lyme disease from a tick bite. As a result of misdiagnosis, he developed PTSD and brain damage from Lyme disease. He is currently undergoing daily treatment in Canada, plus surgery is coming up too. His pain and frustration is his motor and vent. Amazing artist with a vast back catalog worth diving into 🖤🖤🖤

When I first saw Ren performing live seven years ago, I was captivated. There was just something so different about him. I have since seen him live many times and it's wonderful that everyone else is finally waking up to his eclectic talents. There are many of his rap performances on RUclips but I also suggest Chalk Outlines (live) to hear his beautiful singing voice and then carry on down the Ren rabbit hole. You have an exciting ride ahead.

However, my three favorites of his right now are "Power" & the musical collaborations ft. Eden Nash "Ocean" and "Humble". Except for his retakes, he produces his own beats, plays most of the instruments, and does the singing/rapping/beat boxing. He's crazy talented.
