I think keeping your relationship private but not a secret is a healthy way to do it and keep negative energy out of your relationship.
You have been completely different since meeting your boyfriend but in a good way. You are glowing and a lot happier and have more confidence. He seems like a good one and you are so unbelievably deserving of that!

For some reason doctors have a really hard time acknowledging gynecological issues and treating them. You may want to watch Lauren Norris's videos on her endometriosis diagnosis and surgery. She goes into a lot of detail.

I'm not going through the exact same thing as Emma, but I am a 22 year old about to have a big surgery. It made me feel better knowing that I'm not the only girl in her early 20s having to have surgery. Thank you for sharing it and hoping it all goes well for Emma!

yessss the complete 180 in my makeup routine is crazy! I used to pack on the foundation, I put on eyeshadow, layers of mascara and filled in my brows and i’ve gotten to the point where I only wear cc cream and a little bit of bronzer and blush and then some days i’ll put on maybe one layer of brown mascara. I’ve been loving the natural look lately and it takes sooo much less time than my previous routine and I don’t really see myself going back to lots of makeup ever

I used to ALWAYS wear makeup until i turned 24. I still wear concealer sometimes, but honestly u will save money and your skin when u ditch makeup
I’ve had health problems (silent reflux/LPR) since last February and just now started getting the help I need back in May. I’ve been to so many different specialists (cardiologist, ENT, GI, speech therapy, and an obgyn). I think they like to pass you around to get more money out of you. At least with my experience, I’ve gotten told some dumb diagnoses that I KNEW weren’t right. Hang in there Emma, we got this. Sending prayers.💓
Hopefully this new doctor can help you with what’s going on! I hope it all gets better. It sounds so painful 😣

I was diagnosed with with endometriosis and adenomyosis. Early this year. I didn’t know about this until I had surgery and meet with a specialist obgyn .

Hey Emma thank you for this video and being so open about what your going through ❤ I also had an ovarian cyst when I was 18 and being on birth control actually helped it and it eventually disappeared, I went off of the pill for one month and it immediately grew rapidly in that time. That’s just my personal experience but everyone is different and I sympathise with what your going through it’s scary and unpredictable at times but you’re not alone 🤗
I totally agree with you on the makeup! I definitely do wear a lot less makeup than I used to.

as someone who has lived in jersey & has visited since i was little, i hope you love it!! the ocnj beach is family friendly and very clean! on the boardwalk i would recommend doing haunted golf as a fun little activity one night! jersey pizza is also soooo good too 🤭

I love ocean city nj so much!! I definitely recommend going on the ocean city boardwalk and going on the rides there!! There’s also many ice creams shops around there!! There’s tons of things you can do there!

That’s so crazy! I went to my OBGYN and we scheduled surgery right away. I had a different circumstance than you, but it’s crazy that it’s taken this long. I just had to get a hysterectomy and am 1 week post surgery.

I had an ovarian cyst 4 yrs ago that got to the size of a watermelon before I noticed anything was wrong. Had to get my entire left reproductive side removed. Wishing you the best
even with 10 hours you get exhausted because now you’re oversleeping, if you shoot for 7-8 hours you should feel refreshed (i say this as i literally sleep for 11)
I love that you’re sharing personal stuff about your health. I was wondering how you were doing with your cyst. I had the same thing happen to me in 2019. I got tumor removed and it was non cancerous. My OBGYN later diagnosed me with endometriosis and PCOS. I’ve been on and off so many bc pills and they make me not get my period but I’m off all medication trying to get it back. Hope all goes well and my story helps your in some way!! My mum has an ovarian cyst they gave her the coil to ease the pain of periods and it overall and she doesn’t have severe pain anymore. I’m hoping everything goes well ❤

Emma Marie, my thoughts and prayers. Can I put you on a prayer list? Prayers for miracles do happen. I have experience 2 miracles. I had a liver transplant in 2019, and last year, I helped save a baby. 18mo baby, we did CPR for 15 minutes, and she had no brain damage. Miracles do happen with prayers.

You got this Emma. I had an endometriosis removal surgery a year and half ago and I also deal with ovarian cysts. All of it sucks and during my endo surgery they found out my intestinal track was attached to my tubes and uterus and ovaries. To find out having kids for my husband and I will be almost impossible. It’s not easy. Take the recovery slow with surgery and don’t rush it. Praying for you and hope for the best! I know you are young so am I but it’s still not an easy thing to deal with!

I lost my right ovary when I was around 20. I had cysts and had them removed 3 times, on the 3rd surgery, I gave permission to take the ovary out, it had turned over already and had been dead, so they removed it. I started on the depo shot for birth control after that to prevent cysts from going on the left cyst and then it’s stayed healthy ever since and I’m 25. I understand it is scary and every situation is different. Best of luck to you!

I have an ovarian cysts as well. They told me it’ll shrink or pop. I still feel it there 4 months later. Hasn’t popped and I can bet it hasn’t shrunk. I’m supposed to go for blood work & another ultrasound! But they aren’t fun. I don’t know why doctors “assume” they’ll go away.
I used to live in New Jersey for 2yrs it was so cold in the winter I didn't like it. 😂 its nice in the summers but the beaches are not free you have to pay to lay out and its not cheap you cannot pump your own gas they have someone to do it for you but the food is really good I loved the pizzas and Italian food since I am part italian I loved that. Enjoy your trip with your boyfriends family.
