2:06 they get to the point of this video..
Thank you! Utterly tedious crap until!
Ridiculous and largely useless review.
Sooooo ponderous. Stop trying to be clever and just give us details. I had to quit early. So much needless bullshit.
Totally agree, so much logo t-shit and they hadn't explained anything.
if you go to denon's website, you'll see that it's rated at 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms, not 175 as stated in this video.
I thinks they meant at a 4 ohm load it’s 175watts
I own this receiver and i measured a whopping 203 watts per channel (2 channels driven), into 4 ohm speakers. Quite impressive. Regarding sound quality . . . easily the best sounding 2 channel stereo AVR under $1,000 (with maybe the exception of Marantz).
Which amp dyno did you use to measure the results. That’s impressive output.
Did you happen to measure watts at an 8ohm load?
Bullshit . I owned this POS DENON that I bought during covid due to the chip shortage as the product I wanted was on back order for 6 months . This Denon barely drove my Klipsch RP600m bookshelf speakers having to crank it to 50% to get any decent sound . I also own a pair of A/D/S L810's in excellent condition that are 4ohm and the Denon didn't even know what to do with them .
I ended up snagging a 1985 Yamaha R9 at a thrift store in excellent condition for $9 and to put it simply blows this PoS Denon away as it's not even close or worth comparing the two. All I need is a Bluetooth adapter for cheap money for the ability to stream like the DENON but I mainly listen to Cd's and Vinyl .
The Yamaha at 20% volume does what this DENON does at 50% with much better sound quality . My A/D/S L810'S sing with less than a quarter turn . I just EBAYed the Denon before its worth $100 in 2 years from now 🤣 All you're paying for is the bells and whistles when the most important thing which is " the sound " is lacking .

10:33 and you basically did not tell me anything that I did not read on the Denon website. Just a lot of goofing around.
Glad to have found this channel, this Denon receiver is long overdue, streamer and usb lossless what a great system.
This coming from a guy who owns three older DRA (integrated amp) receivers.
Like to try it on my Teton Double Impacts.
Glad you found us! Thanks for watching!
Killer introductions, fellas
Great Job Guys! Just through me off at the end with the ARC Support. ARC is a MUST these days.
ARC Support? 2x2x2? Audio Return Channel. How about what streams on your display (Smartv apps) will play audio back to the receiver for processing to the speakers through the same HDMI that is an input on the TV.
Been waiting for 20 yrs to buy a new receiver. Bought a sound bar years ago n never looked back. Well I'm looking back.
I would have liked this video to have been done showing how "easily" you say it is to setup. I just biught one and although I'm an older bloke at 68 , I find it not so easy. I'm not HEOS savvy and love Plug and play simplicity. KISS is my motto. For instance, after getting the initial setup done , i tried just plugging in a flashdrive to play music, and after much trepidation , trial and error, coild not do it. Same with the FM radio. Plug in the antenna, select FM , tune to a station and go. Nope, not that easy.... The sound delivered to my 4 Bookshelf speakers ( 2 Elac Debut 6.2 and a pair of Fluance Signature Series Surround HiFi speakers augmented with 60 Watt SW) is clean, clear, and precise. No noise from this Receiver. Of course sound is very subjective to the ear of the beholder, but nice clean Amplification is what you expect from Receivers in this category. That IMO is achieved, but the convolution of the controls with all the bells and whistles is over the top. Ill never use half this stuff or maybe i will after i get my degree in stereo engineering. Maybe its the age..... thx guys for time to make this vid.
especially hard to set the Wifi password. Total nightmare.
I like you guys. Good sense of humor. Quite short one, because im looking now for this denon, if i should buy or skip. Still thx nice to find you.
what were you guys on?
Can I connect this to an external power amp from zone 2 pre out
HEOS is a great alternative and have found the HEOS Drive is an awesome solution for a 4 Zone set-up
Just imagine what it would sound like with klipsch speakers
Thats my plan. I have rf 82 and rf 52. :)
much better than my old demon. lol preston Kent's kar stereo
I own this device. I bought it because its stereo and have zone 2. I want to listen my turntable on zone 2 with subwoofer affect on my valve amplifier. But I could not success. Any comment? is it possible? Or I must directly connect all my sources to my valve amplifier. Then why I need this?
Can you connect a bluetooth extender to this receiver?
May I ask would this beat Marantz NR1200 for cd listening primarily? Or not!
Same question here
This or Marantz RN1200 ?
phono a must thank you
