Most powerful and only Intercontinental Indian Missile Agni-5 was also devloped during Manmohan rule and many-many other products such as Pinaka etc were all devloped and given order for during Congress........ If we talk about IAF then the Rafale deal which was cancelled by Modi Ji was also finalized by Congress.

F18 airframe and wings life span is less compared to Raphael and does require more maintenance as well as it is developed for catapult launched aircraft carrier whereas Raphael can solve these issues as well as less maintenance and operation cost........

I would like to see Indian dhruvastra with Indian Lch India needs to order 15 Lch with integrated dhruvastra and see how they perform to pave way for more orders. Indian Navy needs to make quick decision of buying aircrafts if it wants to buy aircrafts 2 squardrons should be enough for now...until Tedbf comes into play with two carriers for now..each can carrier can have 1 squadron of mig 29k and 1 of fa18/ rafael M which ever they then tedbf can replace mig 29k in coming years. Why is that our government only moves fast when only the problems have surfaced when we are living in border with China and Pakistan. For example out of 100 technologies needs the government must atleast go for 30 to 40 technologies in full strength and speed so that time is safe. Just look how we are at present all three Armed Forces going for emergency purchases. We must give defense sector more priority and more defense budget as we cannot go on this way when we have neighbors like China and Pakistan.
But how the habit of most of the Ordnance Factory workers to keep busy in Dhurnas and Demonstrations and not work at a normal pace? In a few days, the 'trained manpower' will train the Private company works how not to work and pose and talk Politics??

At this point in time, 5/36 Rafale is not enough so buy more Rafale (by anticipating encroachments at any time from China) to atleast 150-200 in another two years for air power dominance to defend and counter attack Chinese 5th generation multirole fighters at the Sky's.
