- S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chornobyl was a blast to play through and a nice change of pace, and when I saw that clear sky was more of the same but now with factions wars, I was already adding it to my library, so lets see just how clear the sky actually is, but be warned, while I streamed this on RUclips some stalker vets were losing their minds at my , shall I say odd game play choices, so if you're ok watching the worst first playthrough of clear sky ever, sit down grab a snack and lets get into it.

I remember watching that bit @06:08 on stream. Between totally stealing your line and having to translate the sign, it was a fun time. At least you came up with something; "Cheese master" is quite fitting because he turned you into it & he was totally using cheese strategies.

with a combat mod like arsenal overall this is my fav stalker game, i love the engine and how it allows the guns to feel that mixed with the huge battles makes it the best in my eyes
I feel this too even without mods, I’ve started through CoP and I just can’t seem to find enjoyment in it which is odd as it feels the most stable. But the lack of faction battles or a storyline I can get behind, clear sky takes the cake as the best imo.
@@krisisgaming i'm playing the stalker trilogy on ps5 right now and i already did finish soc and cs.. and i'm 5 hours in cop.. i really liked the first one.. i absolutly loved clear sky (i like the rpg-like style of that game).. and i find call o pripyat.. ähm.. kinda boring:(
they throw you in the game like " ahh guess whos back.. so do your thing".. and the first few quests i got was horrible.. go to that person--> that person "beams" you to a little area with anomalies.. you walked like 20s then jumped into another beam.. and than you have arrived at the quest marker.. wtf?

Freedom is best faction, great to see someone who isn’t a Duty fanboy.
Duty has that edgy color scheme but Freedom are just zone hippies, how could you not join them haha
I remember wrecking the freedom base, stacking bodies to the sound of freedom radio lol. 10/10 would visit the freedom base for some cheeki breeki again.

Some fun fact: great swamp during development was planned to be much bigger than cordon and garbage combined and the games used to be called anarchy cell instead clear sky which sound more cooler

@@krisisgaming Im always neutral in their conflict. Both are too extreme in their vision while Clear Sky has a more realistic view.
Clear sky is my favorite in the trilogy

My allies did get scared of going indoors quite a bit haha
I played through the entire game wearing a black bandit jacket (with no artifact slots whasoever if I remember correctly) I got at the beginning. I didn't care to join any factions, didn't care for making money (after being called greedy beating SoC). It was hard, but it earned me style points in the eyes of the gopnik community. Cheeki breeki!
That’s nearly how I did it too! But when I got to the red forest and was basically bleeding to death or one shot, chat and I agreed we needed to get better gear
It doesn't matter how you played the game what you picked up a gun, spent all of your money upgrading it just replace it an hour later yeah thats a part of the experiance bro
Edit: ok nevermind you did do some questionable stuff XD but hey as long as you had fun also pro tip left click on the knife is trash as it does less damage and has less range than the right click on top of not being able to swing it while sprinting like you can do with right click. Knife is better than you think if ı remember right you can 1 or 2 shot headshot exoskeleton dudes with right click to the face and kill snorks/bloodsuckers if you've got the skills and stamina.
It sounds like a knife only run will need to be done eventually with this strat haha
I remember hunting blood suckers/train humpers and mutie dogs with a knife. Snorkies are just a bit annoying, but can be done.

The game got so much hate, some admittedly deserved. But since release to this day this is still my favorite stalker title.
2 is good and same for SoC, but Clear Sky and it’s faction war is a big selling point for me

Stalker fan since 2008 here, yup this is like you put it: the dumbest playthrough of stalker I've ever seen and I am comparing to others I saw play this for the first time.
I am even comparing this to one guy I know who is basically legally retrrded and even he didn't play it like this.
You got to red forest with early game gear and was told by the chat to get supplies so you go ALL THE WAY back to Sid while also being fimiliar with the map since you played SoC.
You must have B-lined toward every way point expecting the game to give you things as you go like western AAA.
This doea not make sense either considering that you play other games on your channel where you have to use your brain.
I'm not hating on you, I'm just concerned.
