Highlands Of Iceland Part III - Langisjór - 4K Drone Video

Langisjór (meaning "the long sea") is my favorite place in the Highlands of Iceland, if not the world. It is a large lake southwest of Vatnajökull, with 27 square kilometers, 20 km long and 2 km wide. I went there on 2 consecutive days in September and I was blessed to experience two extremely different view of the amazing Langisjór. On the first day we went, it was rainy and windy before we headed out. Fortunately, as this is Iceland, the weather changes constantly, and we managed to have a sunny weather with blue sky and less wind when we arrived.
The view was so breathtaking and gorgeous that we decided to visit Langisjór again the next day for sunrise. We woke up at 4:30am, headed out in the dark without knowing what scenery was awaiting us. We noticed on our way that it had been snowing overnight. But what we didn't know is that the mountain range surrounding the lake was all covered with snow. This is literally the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. And it's inarguably the best way to end our amazing Complete Highlands tour 😉

Langisjór是我在冰島內陸高地上最喜歡的地方。它是位於Vatnajökull西南邊的一個大湖，面積約27平方公里，長約20公里，寬約2公里。我於9月的冰島之旅連續2天去訪了這個湖泊，並非常幸運地能體驗到了Langisjór令人驚異的兩種截然不同的景色。我們去的第一天，下雨風又很大。幸運的是，冰島的天氣變化無常，到達後天氣異常晴朗的，天色很藍，亦吹著微風。
由於前一天的景色令人嘆為觀止，難以忘懷，所以我們決定第二天再次去Langisjór觀賞日出。凌晨4:30起床，在黑暗中出發，不知道將會看到什麼風景。我們在途中觀察到一夜之間下起雪來。但我們不知道的，是湖泊周圍的山脈都被暟暟白雪覆蓋。這是我看過的最美麗的風景，並無疑是結束我們高地之旅的最佳方式😉
