The lover Jane Lynch mentioned might have been Orin Lehman, who matched Joan's description of the man having one leg and later cheating on her. Just saying.
Her dear friend and longtime partner at QVC, David Dangle posted a photo of Joan and Orin on his Facebook page a couple years back. They made a charming couple. Unfortunately though he enjoyed lunching with lady friends and buying them gifts. Joan viewed it as a major betrayal and never spoke to him again.
