Chef Greg was classically trained in the Culinary Arts at Canada’s renowned Stratford Chef’s School. He then apprenticed and worked with Canada’s top Chefs in Toronto for 11 years. 1999 Greg moved to San Francisco and orchestrated the culinary revitalization of the Westin St Francis historic gathering destination, The Compass Rose. A signature accomplishment of Chef Ische was the creation of the “Tasting Tree,” which established him as a culinary talent in the city known for cutting-edge food. Greg’s talents led him to represent Starwood Hotels and Resorts at the renowned James Beard House in New York.
Greg could always identify trends in the culinary world before they became mainstream. These skills led him into the world of R&D, where his talents were capitalized at Nestle Professional, Wolfgang Puck, Boar’s Head Brand, and Alcantara Worldwide in Lima, Peru.
In 2021, Greg and his wife Tamara, of twenty years, relocated to the Nashville area. Tapping into his business & entrepreneurial skills, he launched Hydro-Stacker West as the designated distributor for the patented Vertical Hydroponic Growing System. Bridging his business skills with his passion for fresh food, Greg identified that the Hydro-Stacker System would be a significant game changer in how people and communities re-establish locally grown fresh produce.
Hydro-Stacker is the preeminent and most versatile hydroponic growing system on the market, with systems from a single stacker (20 plants) to million plant operations.
