Anthony Anderson Teases ‘Friends,’ ‘Sopranos’ REUNIONS at Emmys (Exclusive)

Anthony Anderson is feeling “excited” as he gets ready to host the delayed 2023 Emmys! He told “Extra’s” Terri Seymour that his beloved mom Doris Bowman, aka Mama Doris, will have the task of ushering people off the stage if their speeches go too long. He also teased a big opening musical number with Travis Barker on drums and some planned cast reunions and tributes, including “The Sopranos” and “Friends.” Plus, he spoke about the show airing on MLK Day and making history with an all African American production team.

A tribute to Friends is only right considering it's the 30 year anniversary of the show's premiere. But it'll be hella weird to have another potential cast reunion/tribute without Matthew Perry.
