- I have had a favorite song from one of my Dr Demento Cd's for a long time. It was done by The Firm. I decided with the new cast of Star Trek announced I decided to make this video. At the end I have a picture of the new crew.. I think the song is funny..

a true Dr. Demento classic. I miss the days when the Doctor was on radio for free. Now, at least where I live, to hear him you have to pay, and I have enough doctor bills without paying him too.

In the early '90s, a girl used tapes of Dr. Demento to briefly keep our romance alive. I lived in Connecticut, where he was not on the air, she lived in Florida. I tried to unload her, but week after week she kept sending me tapes of the show from Florida, and calling to see if I got them, and what my favorite songs were. I took her back--until she left me and married a loser who deserved just what he got.
Love it! Been a fan of the song since it came out and to "see" it was a blast - thanks for brightening up a dreary Monday in January!.

This is, as has been said before, not Dr Demento, (whoerver he is,) but a British group called THE FIRM! I have this on a vinyl single. Yes, I bought it when it first came out. It was one of those songs that the only way you could get it out of your head was to buy a copy.

Dr. Demento does a radio show where he plays all of these goofy songs even though he doesnt perform the songs he pretty much played them first and made them famous.. so everybody just calls them dr demonto songs
