    My first thought was to "park" it on the moon and let it become a perpetual museum for future generations (or civilizations) to explore.

    I'm not convinced by that arguement you could land it on the moon use it as a resource station and and reuse the materials to build new structures.
    landing on the moon put it in a sleep mode waiting for them to go up and using it and reusing it

    To be honest, I believe the governments of the world should all contribute to loading up the ISS with 10,000 mixed Tinky Winky and Barbie dollls then accelerate the space station and gravity assist it all the way to the andromeda galaxy…. Imagine what we would do if we cracked open ʻOumuamua and found it full of Lego ?
