such solid advice, a lot of videos on youtube are pretty and flashy but this is straight up bread and butter. the pump fakes and combos that could be added to both of these for even more bite/contact off the defender once they get wise to these could make someone very frustrating to guard. very good starting post moves to learn
As long as you gather the ball after you pick up your left foot you're fine because technically you can still dribble. You just have to be careful with scooping the ball early but even so most refs won't call this a travel
I really enjoy watching your videos! It’s especially nice whenever you breakdown the moves into slow motion because its easier for me to follow through and imitate them spicy moves 🔥 Keep up the great content :)
The best post move is a post hop shot or post step back. You can back down ur defender, use ur arm to do a small push off to create separation, then step back and shoot a open jumper.
A move I like to do is where I pretend to go for the fade away since I’m good at it but I keep both feet on the ground; only my toes. They will try to block, but I will rotate into a lay up
I agree with the comments. Both moves are so hard to defend. The scoop is more defendable if you're disciplined enough to move your feet with hands up. The pound, spin is so tough. You need a help defender.
I was sure that I invented the two arm scoop my freshman year. I was playing jv and scored 24 points with like 5 and 1’s. Stopped working as next year on varsity as I just wasn’t as strong as 18 year old men
Man to be honest you dsurv more likes and subs, Cuz for your useful moves.
Dsurv 💀
English is definitely not your first language
Bro double dribbled
english has left the chat
😮
Underrated advice, everyone needs a post game
No bro you don’t want those annoying 5’10 teacher post scorers who only dominate because they play against 10 year olds
Most underrated vid, u deserve more subs
This man really got clix playing basketball…respect
😐
Love the spin move. Intelligent movement!

Just be careful with the underscoop. You can easily loose the ball if there is an attentive helpside player
I tore my rotator cuff with that move because the defense was coming down on my arms and hard fouled me
@@ThinkerLeftGotta get that rotator conditioning up.
I'd do it but I'll probably get dizzy from moving that fast 😭😭
Well you are very unathletic then cause you gotta move like that in sports
@@Mas0nBasketball33 not alway some people just have a hard tim spinning like crazy
U don’t need this in your package it’s just good to have
@@Mas0nBasketball33 Nikola Jokic?
that spin back is wicked quick, bro!
Hakeem Olajuwon spin move on the first one is highly useful. I do that one a lot being ambidextrous with it is even more lethal💯
Is that not travel??
Thank you for giving the proper credit to The Dream 🫡🫵🏾👍🏾💯
@@muhammedsafwan3687 yep..but not nowadays.
@@drk.i.a.2969can you really say nowadays when Hakeem used it?
Thank you... Dumb Ass
that spin back is so tuff
i like this dude bc he has crazy affective moves that also look insane but they arent that hard to do so a beginner can pick them up and perfect it
2nd Move made James Harden a Triple Double Machine
Your every video contains useful and efficient movements and learner-friendly tips, always! Thanx~
Careful to not lift the left pivot foot before releasing ball from your hand. *on 1st example
Nah its fine to do that you just cant put it back down 🙃
@@qwertz1703 I'm not sure I understand your comment. He lifts his left foot before releasing the ball out of his hand for his one and only dribble.
Ball must leave the hand before lifting the pivot foot.
As long as you gather the ball after you pick up your left foot you're fine because technically you can still dribble. You just have to be careful with scooping the ball early but even so most refs won't call this a travel
Tell that to hakeem
Bro thx for all the tips man

I'm 6'5 and 30 just started playing again thanks for re introduction bro
First move got me strapped bro 😢
Ty so much bro Ima use this in my phys ed class
Low pick up aka harden pick up... Works for every move and draw fouls the most
Really good advice 👍
That first move is TUFF
Thank you bro as a big this helps a lot
The first move 😅you traveled
Damn that's the fastest spin fake I've seen
That spin was so smooth!
The first move can be called for a travel if you do it to fast. Make sure you’re in good standing with the ref for the night.
Finally!!! Someone who shows us the moves against a REAL defender!
I swear this dude is gonna get me into the league😂
I’m using that spin asap that looks insane
My son gon use these moves now 🫡 Preciate you
The 360 hop step is also really good off of the face up and a dribble or two, especially into a jump hook
That spin back move should end in sealing off the defender for a layup or drive
bro spins like a beyblade
This is the move bam used on the celtics in game 5 or 6 i think
Thx
that first won had me spinning 😂
good stuff on the underscoop
You can even step forward for a layup after the spin in the first move.
That's basically Carmelo Anthony's signature move, post faceup drive spin back rip through scoop shot.
Both of those are how AD became a top 75. And his defensive versatility as well but yeah real nice moves
Great video :)
This is my unstoppable move
The best post move is a post hop shot or post step back. You can back down ur defender, use ur arm to do a small push off to create separation, then step back and shoot a open jumper.
Jimmy Butler does these 2 moves a lot
That 'spinback' is Icy, bro
BEST channel
Not even a player, but sooo clean
I subbed
A move I like to do is where I pretend to go for the fade away since I’m good at it but I keep both feet on the ground; only my toes. They will try to block, but I will rotate into a lay up
Also known as a reverse Pivot
keep in mind, don't spin on purpose but as a counter, else a good defender going to school you
My favorite is the drop step spin
Both my favorite moves
Deffo tru baller 🙏🏼
I agree with the comments. Both moves are so hard to defend. The scoop is more defendable if you're disciplined enough to move your feet with hands up. The pound, spin is so tough. You need a help defender.
second move is solid the first move is kinda risky facing up on the block
Nice. First move the guy lifted his pivot before putting the ball on the ground.
def using the 2nd one
Carmelo Anthony used to have this move as his signature post move back in Denver
Ban the underscoop I don’t want to talk about it 😂😂😂
Пасиба братан, это реально крутые мувы для игры, учитывая, что я практически не получаю возможности играть))) я хочу попробовать это))
That last move is hilarious trash 😂😅
After the spin counter them with an up and under on the first move if you’re still not open
The 2nd move is literally why some teams have more ft attempts than others
The underscoop is what I call an old man move. Its one I use regularly playing against young guys
That's the Hakeem.... Melo got it down packed
I need to sub cuz i need this tips
Best spin
360 windmill tomahawk is a lot more important to develop
I do the second one a lot. Word of advice: Its a foul 85% of the time, the problem is that refs won’t call that shit 70% of it.
Spin back tuff
I love the underscoop but I never get my fouls called which is sad
First move from Hakeem Olajuwon
W post move
"Even if you're God" 💀
Hommies gonna call it travel !
yep!
Traveling on that Sikma pivot
My toxic trait is thinking I can do this on my first try
For those who claim to be certified old head and said this is a travel.
You guys must be blind during hakeem era.
Luka does the second one all the time
I was sure that I invented the two arm scoop my freshman year. I was playing jv and scored 24 points with like 5 and 1’s. Stopped working as next year on varsity as I just wasn’t as strong as 18 year old men
Another thing is the spin, shot fake, into a pivot lay up.
Pound spin back is really easy to travel, as you just did when you demonstrated cuz you lifted your pivot foot before dribbling
yep!
1st move travel gets called every time. picked up foot before dribble
There use to be a shot blocker there waiting for you to turn inside weak and send that stuff out of bounds.
I remember melo did the first move to giannis it was crazy but got blocked
Pound spin back is traveling
Most spin moves you have to finish off one foot for it not to be a travel. Both examples are travels.
Move 2 will only draw you fouls if your playing in a semi pro environment. Playing at the park or in pickup won't get called very often.
The first move was a Spin Fade
First one you'll most likely headbutt the defender
I’m confused on how the first one works, won’t that be a carry or sum? Like if your holding the ball w 2 hands and dribble you can’t do that.
Most pick up players travel on that first one cause they don’t put the ball down early enough
Put that ball down B4 you pick up that pivot foot👍🏽
That’s tough
Nice
1st one is a travel over here in Europe 😬
🔥
2 travels in one spin T_T my eyes are bleeding
1st example was a travel. You stepped with your pivot before dribbling the ball but that move is definitely nasty
