I'm pretty certain the collections are permanent. with absolutely no evidence pointing otherwise that I can find on their websites, the app store pages, the wiki, or in-game, and with the company being what it is, it is not a limited-time purchase. and really, the timing to stop selling the cytus packs right before christmas would be beyond stupid. as for releasing the full version for free, I can only say that with Cytus. I'm pretty sure they will be doing the same with Deemo, though. that said, both of these will not be free for years. they use the money earned from purchases to make more content. cytus actually makes their packs free after X people buy the game, as well as releasing a new pack, meaning generaly 4 packs must be bought, but the rest are all free. but while the packs will eventually all be free, I don't know about the game itself, or if this also accounts for deemo. and even if it does, you'll be waiting for quite some time.
