I think it's a lot to ask women who have been or are in a position to be hurt to also guide someone step by step through what they did wrong. Because they're the wronged party and that's so much emotional labour that already, disproportionately falls on women. I agree that Dom wasn't in the right mental space to do it, but if he can address it with his friend at a better moment, then he should. Being silent is being complicit, and unfortunately a lot of men will only stop and reflect if it comes from other men.

I think Harry really has been looking for love this entire time but his insecurities have him acting like a bit of a dummy. He did get engaged to Francesca after Too Hot to Handle. It seems like he’s embarrassed and makes these self deprecating jokes to protect his fragile ego. I was best friends with a guy like him, he would hop from woman to woman desperately searching for love. I knew because he would call me crying all the time while everyone else saw him as an F boy. That hurt him but he never allowed anyone else to see it. He’s married now and has 2 beautiful boys, but it took a lot of therapy and work to get here. I see a lot of him in Harry particularly after this episode. I’m sure Harry will get there too, he just needs to find someone that will work with him.
Maybe so but Francesca even said herself they didn’t get engaged until after the show aired (for extra publicity) and they took a break after filming and Harry mainly wanted publicity from it all, not love.

I finished watching. Love your thoughts on Dom in this video, it make me think was Dom was forced and chained to come back on season 2 as a contestant in his contract as winner of season 1? It raises so many questions ( no doubt that he may have a stressful time during filming, his preferences and so many things are not shown. ) I was definitely waiting for the reaction video for the Chris and Tolu, but also how Harry situation would feel for you both. When, I saw it, I first got confused and unsure how to process it with everything I watch (only from Harry clips on this show). And your thoughts verbalized help me a bit trying to understand. Thought, I feel like I am not the only one who remain confused at the end of the episode 5 even if we tried to process part of it. It does seem like he wants to change but this environment doesn't help. On another note I agree with your earlier recaps about the guys. Don't like watching most of them. It could be Jessica is jealous because she thought the season would be all about her, and Tolú has been a huge fan favourite, maybe she’s had a long day, its always the same questions, so she’s bored, or maybe she doesn’t like Tolú. Regardless she is acting like everybody’s mom constantly “ cringing” it seems, but mostly when Tolú is answering things. So to me its giving microagression. At the least Jessica needs some media training & for sure she owes Tolú an apology.
When you say that about Jessica it really sounds like you’re on it. Im noticing how Harry and Jessica are so prominently featured in promo materials, even in the center door. It makes sense in a way, they are some of the biggest names on the show (I think) but I could 100% see Jessica being frustrated about losing the limelight and microagressing. Maybe production forced him to say certain lines. However, I believed that his communication or certain sentences , the way it is edited in this show, hindered the perception about him. I think even if he ends it on a bad note being a player it's still not something that makes his feelings/crying a manipulative ploy to pretend like people are saying. I don't agree with that at all. I see him as someone who genuinely struggles. He clearly has issues and he hasn't said that he didn't. He knows he does too. He can be working on it, trying to do better, going to therapy and still mess up. People don't just change over night. I think that Harry has been playing the game for a long time... I did not fall for Harry's tears, I believe he does this a lot in relationships where he plays the victim and in that way escapes taking accountability for his actions. The subject will always do what they have done since a child that helped them get out of hot water.

I think Harry really has been looking for love this entire time but his insecurities have him acting like a bit of a dummy. He did get engaged to Francesca after Too Hot to Handle. It seems like he’s embarrassed and makes these self deprecating jokes to protect his fragile ego.
I was best friends with a guy like him, he would hop from woman to woman desperately searching for love. I knew because he would call me crying all the time while everyone else saw him as an F boy. That hurt him but he never allowed anyone else to see it. He’s married now and has 2 beautiful boys, but it took a lot of therapy and work to get here. I see a lot of him in Harry particularly after this episode. I’m sure Harry will get there too, he just needs to find someone that will work with him.
Maybe so but Francesca even said herself they didn’t get engaged until after the show aired (for extra publicity) and they took a break after filming and Harry mainly wanted publicity from it all, not love.
Or get help without relying on his romantic partner for that. You can't fill someone else's void, just help them to close it but that doesn't mean you have to pick up a shovel

I was definitely waiting for the reaction video for the Chris and Tolu, but also how Harry situation would feel for you both. I felt bad for Harry too. I don't know anything about him outside this show and what I heard about him after the pictures with Jess came out after LIB. It does seem like he wants to change but this environment doesn't help.

Regardless she is acting like everybody’s mom constantly “ cringing” it seems, but mostly when Tolú is answering things. So to me its giving microagression. At the least Jessica needs some media training & for sure she owes Tolú an apology.
When you say that about Jessica it really sounds like you’re on it. Im noticing how Harry and Jessica are so prominently featured in promo materials, even in the center door. It makes sense in a way, they are some of the biggest names on the show (I think) but I could 100% see Jessica being frustrated about losing the limelight and microagressing. Tolu has yet to do a single thing even remotely rude to Jessica in the house. Where else would that energy come from?
Perfect Match this season feels more like its about clout chasing & Netflix feeling out who amongst these people can connect & help Netflix continue to grow their reality tv portfolio. ⬅️ Ashleys comments about the prize or lack there of is what really solidified that for me.

Maybe I will be very disillusioned at the end but I truly believe Harry wants to change and I like him and Jess a lot together. As a neurodivergent person, I have been misunderstood and accused of bad intentions that I did not have so many times, I can understand the pain. Still, he should really work on the comments about s*x he makes during the interviews with production 😅
Maybe production forced him to say certain lines.
However, I believed that his communication or certain sentences , the way it is edited in this show, hindered the perception about him. For example, like I'm sure his conversation between Elys and him was edited, we might never know if it was entirely an uncut moment or edited.
I agree that there some part of me that believe Harry wants to change, but some comments he said, like you said, needs a bit of work or no need to express this way. And maybe Jessica's presence is really making him connected to this will of change. Jessica really able to make him focus on, "I am changing or trying to express certains things with maybe a sloppy attempts.

I think even if he ends it on a bad note being a player it's still not something that makes his feelings/crying a manipulative ploy to pretend like people are saying. I don't agree with that at all. I see him as someone who genuinely struggles. He clearly has issues and he hasn't said that he didn't. He knows he does too. He can be working on it, trying to do better, going to therapy and still mess up. People don't just change over night. He could be putting in a ton of effort and be on the right path and then still make a mistake. In this high pressure situation on international streaming could throw a wrench in anyone's behaviour. Idk I feel like peoples mindset that it's all fake/if he messes this up that means everything he said is a lie. He could have been being honest and still working on himself while also not being fully healed.
