In this video, I will teach you guys how to win solos in Season 8 Fortnite Battle Royale. I discuss a few tips and tricks that have helped me rack up more wins and improve as a solo player. I divide the video into three distinct sections (with timestamps for each in the beginning): the early game, mid game, and late game. I have been asked to make videos covering how to survive the early game or play out the end game, so this video goes in-depth in helping you guys master each part of a solo game. Solos are the hardest game mode to win in Fortnite right now, the overall skill level in both arena and normal public matches has increased greatly since the start of Season 8. My tips in this video also cover the differences in each game mode and how you should be going for wins in arena versus public matches. Overall, this video should definitely help you improve, get better at Fortnite, and enable you to get more wins. Remember though, the point of going for wins and winning more games is to improve and become a better player. While it's nice to increase your Fortnite winrate or brag to your friends about how many wins you have, your ultimate goal should be to improve your game sense, mechanics, and overall gameplay.

That comment about mid game being the reason so many people suck at solos was legit eye opening. Realized that I was still pushing like a madman in mid game, which is why I die so frequently despite having kills. Everything you said about midgame was super helpful, thanks a lot :)

Another tip (may be old): always try to use a different material than your opponent in a 1v1 so you'll easily know if you've got the wall/edit/replace

I have been winning more solos this season than all of the others I found this video to help so much more though with mid game and early game which are the hard parts of the game
I can get High kill games, but I always choke, can you do a video on how to not choke or help to stay calm, btw been here since 6k and still loving vids
It also helps to maintain a mindset of knowing that if you die, you can just go into another game and it doesn't mean you can't reach the same point again. If you have a mindset like this (or if this doesn't work, believe that you are a better player), you will tend to play more confidently over time and you will survive more of those high pressure situations.

Just to help people im going to give you a good piece of advice
You are not trash. Its probably just the fact that you have been conditioned to have a team mate with you because you most likely play duos or squads. You have become to used to having support/ having help with a team mate. Just continue playing solos and try avoid alot of duos until you become consistent with solos imo

Hey Jerian, I am most likely getting a PC soon and I have a 60hz monitor and I remember in one of ur videos you said something along the lines of "u could have 200 fps but it wont make a difference if u have a 60hz monitor" I play on console currently and I'm getting a PC for less laggy end games cuz of the major fps drops on console so I was wondering will endgames be less laggy with a 60hz monitor or do I need a 144hz? Could you do a video on how to stop choking in terms of building? I find that in playgrounds I’m a decent builder, not great, but not terrible, but when it comes to in game build fights I always tend to choke those which causes me to place the wrong piece when trying to gain high ground.

I got my new pc just before season 8 started, before I used to play at internet cafes. And Ive realized im actually goatfied not to brag. Ive gotten over 50 solos which is more than half of what ive gotten in the past 7 seasons.

Does playing 0 ping makes a very big difference🤔
If it is between 0 and 10 ping, it barely makes some sort of difference. If it is between 0 and 100 ping, there will be a noticeable difference between 0 and 100.
