  • Bruce Weinstein is coming back to the shop for a full day of workshopping in April! He'll of course be teaching how to be a better knitter and bringing his fabulous lunch. (April 13th). Also, a new Tuesday class and Beginner Crochet worship coming soon. We are restocking after our big online sale with some spectacular new yarns including Moondrake's Fuwa Fuwa (+ more silk mohairs and cotton linens). Plus Nancy's how to rip a cast on edge to change it. Pretty cool.

Thank you for your valuable information Nancy. I have a question on the Anker shirt if I wanted a tighter neckline would I cast on with a smaller needle or start the sweater in a smaller size with less stitches? Thank you!

You could try a smaller needle. Or, since the neckline has a tendency to stretch after blocking and wearing, you could consider adding an elastic thread to the neckline to keep.
