just passing to say THANKS Nick...all your videos are just fu*** AWESOME...tx for help us!!I hope you and yours are safe & SOUND in these weird covid days...best whishes from Brussels!!
Hey Nick thanks for this video! I own a Force, and Im super in doubt of buying a Push for the note mode...do you have a script or something like that to play notes, or even use the step sequencers and chord modes in Ableton with the Akai Force?
Hi Nick, Im wondering if it wouldnt be good to replace Push2 with Force for ableton control. Could you comment how slicing samples look like on Force but inside ableton? Also how drum rack work and if I will have same preview of samples? It feels like Force is just made for Ableton. Would be nice to have standalone machine that I can also use as well integrated midi controller. When Force was released it felt for me like its some kind of standalone Push3
Sorry It took so long to respond. I wouldn’t recommend this as a replacement to Push2. Live control is more of an added feature to force not its main purpose. You can control more of live with push. Force acts more like an apc
Hi Nick. is it possible to use the force like the push (playing notes in Ableton e.g. omnisphere)? I connected it to ableton but can just trigger the clips and the stock plugins, but it is not possible to play any notes (can't choose the "Notes" button on the force). I found no further informations on google/youtube :/ Thx for helping.
Forgive me for the delay. Yes. You can record forces synths into live through an audio interface similar to how you would record and external synth. This is because forces sounds are built in to the hardware.

Hey fren! Thanks for the kind words. Reading through these comments is motivation to get back to teaching y’all the way.
Jeez, it is just brilliant =D I smiled throughout the entire video )
This looked so fun, hoping to upgrade to 10suite soon and update my MPC live, keep these vids coming 🙏🙏🙏🎹✨
Very excellent video ! Splendid tutorial ! Super like ! 💚💚💚💚 Thank you for sharing this upload !
Can you not use note mode on the force with ableton?
Shannon Oli it seems that 3.04 only sends midi note data out via 5 pin midi. Force still has a long long way to go.
And could Ableton Push 2 play sounds and devices of Akai Force when hook up with midi cables?

Compatible ableton live 9 ?
Thanks Nick. Your tutorials are always a pleasure to watch! Any live session planned with the Force?
Hey buddy! I played a show recently and have started to get back into the flow of creating content. Stay tuned
Can you record this to akai force matrix as automation? How was this setup?
Yes, force acts as a controller for live meaning any thing you do in this mode can be record and automated
And does it work w/ 3rd party plugins?
🟢I just want to trigger the Akai Force playback and sync the tempo with Ableton somehow.
My question is can you record sounds and samples and synths of Force into Ableton Live DAW when you switch To standalone mode ?

I haope they come up with midi input as well
Ελλαδαραααα 🤘🏼 Berghain!! ❤️
