Great watch as always guys Fancy a 2-1 Dons win on Sat Nisbet to score a brace and the boys to get another 3 huge points for the Dons with a well fought win at Pittodrie 🤞

If Vinnie can come back in successfully so can Duk.

David bit of a different situation can't remember Vinnie throwing his toys out the pram and going AWOL . In my opinion if Jimmy wants to give Duk a second chance then so be it but I do think he has alot to do to convince the support his apology is genuine and not because no other team wanted him .

Yeah think you are right here, the two situations are completely different. We havent heard much of Vinnie's "attitude" that has tarred him last two managers, so maybe Thelin can rid Duk of the attitude that kept him away.

@@RedTintedGlasses I'm just guessing, but I have have the feeling that after a pretty poor season he wanted a new start somewhere and he got some incredibly poor guidance from his agent on how to achieve a move.

I fear we have granted forgiveness to Duk too willingly. His behaviour has been shameful, to accept him back is accepting said behaviour.
It may unsettle the squad and undermind the manager. I could be wrong however we won't be aware until we have a sticky period...........
He will jump the very minute he has the chance.

I'm amazed how forgiving everyone is regarding Duk. It's like forgiving an ex who cheated on you. Everyone is unrealistically optimistic that he's going to be the same player he was 2 years ago. He'd need to score a hatrick every time he plays as far as I'm concerned. He's a mercenary. And I'll laugh when he scores a goal, kisses the badge, then leaves for the huns as soon as he can.

DUK who knows what will happen Glen a don’t see him getting in starting line up obviously but he we all know he can be a special player on his day and very good impact player to come of the bench don’t see him getting ahead of Keskinen and McGrath in the wide positions from the start.like you mentioned it’s a tough 1 but if he comes back with the correct attitude let him do his talking on the park and will see what happens fingers crossed it’s the DUK from his first season that we all loved

We can't afford not to get Duk back and firing again. Good on the lad sucking it up and apologising. If he hits top gear, he'll destroy a lot of teams.

Nice to hear your dulcet tones on a Wednesday!
I think Duk will get booed on his return to the pitch. Just for panto spirit if nothing else.
It will be interesting to see how Duk handles that vocalization, seems like an ego is present in him (as is in some good players)
But it is only Duk that can move things in a positive way and if he does I'll be happy.

Duk tapped up and signing for sevco at end of his contract for free. You heard it here first.
OK I'm joking but nothing surprises me anymore.
Don't see the logic in getting him fit to then walk out the door for free at the end of his contract at the expense of a player who is going to here beyond the transfer window, a player who wants to be here and who hasn't messed the club around.
If I was a backup striker, busting a gut, chapping on the door of the first team, I would be really annoyed being put down the pecking order to make way for Duk.
Do we need another disgruntled player on the books?

Good point Jason. I guess the thought of players such as Ambrose, Malloy being signed as "projects" was maybe my thinking that the disgruntlement would be less.. Interesting to see how it pans out

Fit to dee aboot Duk eh? That is the question, if its the Duk of the majority of last season he'll struggle to get on the bench. I'll leave it up to the capable hands of the manager to fit he thinks is best for the squad.
