Glad to hear that you got away. Hope you enjoyed the time.
Sad times when someone like yourself is going through such a ridiculous law suit.
Always liked you no BS reviews of what you found.
    Looking forward to more videos

You are definitely a great asset to the Australian 4WD camping community. Your advice is always well researched and considered and I trust you implicitly. 👍🇳🇿

Thank you so much Stephan. I’ve been following you for years now and you are like an adventurer uncle. I recently had the guts to drive my current gen Rav4 awd to explore the Canadian rockies and sleep camp on it. I’m starting my mini overland adventures thanks to you. Glad you are doing OK and well. Wishing you good health, good life, and happiness. Safe driving and more adventures to come!

I do like the roar of the gas cooker when I’m camping. Its an integral part of the camping experience (I guess because it’s what I grew up with, camping with my dad) and why I haven’t gone induction.

yes same here mate I do love it and will still use it especially on my remote trips but induction is quite neat.

Enjoy the break and the trip to Morton mate. I loved the place when i made it there last year.
Need to say thankyou and extend a great deal of appreciation to you on behalf of Australia consumers for your honest and thorough review work. Without you I may have been a poor DCS customer without your great review work. Its a tough time for you to deal with that BS but you may not ever fully be aware of the importance you have had on others. Its a credit to you.

I bought a cheap induction stove from K-mart and its been the best thing ever only down side to it for me so far I wish the temp changed in 100 increments not 200. Great looking place.

Great timing! I’m off to Moreton in 3 weeks. Like you, postponed and went to Fraser but could not let that super expensive ferry ticket go to waste 😂

So nice to see this place done without the "BOGGED ON ___ ISLAND, FULL SEND!" nonsense that seems to be so prevalent in the last couple of years. Was super chill & friendly back in 2017, everyone said hello & gave tips on where to go, fish etc. which was epic. Just check the weather, a storm ran through overnight while we were there & I can confirm, it doesn't absorb into sand like you may think, we were swamped in minutes.

Always giggle when people baulk at the ferry cost to Moreton but then drive to Fraser…..having been to both islands a number of times it kinda works out the same cost.
    Anyways good video as always.

definitely not the same cost with CT and kids.

Agree, the ferry price is a whole lot cheaper, but once you add the round trip from Brisbane to rainbow beach, the ferry, than you’ll normally do triple the km on Fraser than you’d do on Moreton.
We were a family of five with a camper trailer and lived in Brisbane…..it wasn’t a whole lot different cost wise for a week on Fraser and a week on Moreton.

Butane or LPG is so easy and affordable by comparison... Even though I have lithium batteries for refrigeration etc.

yea l, unless a gale is blowing still like my gas cookers but induction is very convenient

Off topic, but I changed my gas burners in my little apartment in Cape Town to a 2-plate induction cooker. Very happy with the change, very easy to clean, and no more going to the gas supply store, or running out of gas in the middle of a cooking session. 😊

What better way for a Newsouthwelshman to destress than to visit beautiful Queensland 😊 not during state of origin of course 😂 👍
