Finally found the fence design I needed. I feel having a fence held on both ends is far better than a T-style. Solved my issue on what system to use without having to get into metal work. Great job!
I'm happy that you liked my work, mate!
Thanks a lot! Take care!
Interesting idea to use drawer slides with bearing, I also considered to construct my router table with this solution, and at last I found an example for this! Well documented professional video, good job, the fence and video the both. Thanks for idea!
I know this is an old video, but I still wanted to commend you for the ingenuity. The use of drawer slides is brilliant. I hope the table still serves you well.
I am impressed. Explanation and presentation could not be better.
Oh my.
Now I wanna try your plan for the fence.
Thank you so much for doing this.
αξιος ανθρωπος με μερακι μπραβο φιλε μου
Probably the most unique design that I ever seen ! Cheers !
Probably the hardest too ! lol
Lol! Thanks, Philippe! I’m happy that you liked it!
I don’t think it is too hard to build it, you only need the right tools & the right PPE!
So if you know how to use any of your power tools or other industrial machinery, I’m sure you will do just fine!
(Always keep in mind that woodworking is a dangerous activity that demands various safety precautions to be taken)._ Take care & Happy New Year!
Absolutely Brilliant !! I have been looking for ideas on how to replace my old rusty table saw top and there are quite a few examples out there but your version is by far the most manageable for a limited woodworker especially the ingenious fence mechanism. Well done Elias & Thank-you..
I'm so happy that you liked my work!, Mick and I greatly appreciate your warm words of encouragement!

Elias Stratakos It is a pleasure my friend and all the best to and your family for 2017.
Wonderfully thought out. I love the design. If I hadn't just finished building my new table saw, I would have used this video as my starting point. Bravo sir. Excellent job, keep up the good work.
That is probably the best most stable fence mechanism I have seen. Congrats.
I will prinably choose this as the upgrade option for my tablesaw.
I'm so happy that you liked it and thanks a lot for your kind words, Yves!
I really appreciate it! Take care!
Amazing idea. It's also super simple if you leave out the hinges and change the locking mechanism! Definitely going to try this out!
I was so inspired .... can provide size every detail of wood to make the work table.
Thank you for the info .
the best saw jig I never seen. great job! thank you very much :)
A huge job! I really don't need to make such a table saw, but your video is a very detailed and interesting!

Thanks for your kind words, mate! I really appreciate it!

if it is ok with you I would like to steal part of your fence idea for my router table...............:)
Very thoughtful and thoroughly explained of a wonderful idea! Thank you sir!
Excellent!!! Congratulations, thank you for sharing your work!
Elias thank you for your great design of your Table Saw top and Fence as I could not decide on which fence to build until I seen yours , the major change in mine other than size is have removed a Compound Mitre Saw from its base and added a car jack for height adjustment . The saw is held in place by cutting down the slide rods and connected to two draw slides that hold it steady and changed the top of the Jack and replaced the saw handle with a piece of timber .
And your last Video your assignment to build the display units and those Joiners designed for beds is Brilliant, you are like me you improvise you see others uses for manufactured items.
I have warm memories of my visit to Greece in the early 70’s, the people, the country and the most beautiful tasting tomatoes in the world.
Thanks a lot for your kind words, Ronald!
I’m really happy that you liked this version and your patent sounds great, too!
Take a look at the 2nd one I made and decide which one looks easier to you to build!
Both are really steady and strong! Greetings from Greece! Take care!

Beautifully made. Especially the forethought you put in to hinge the fence so it is flat when needed. I subscribed
Yeap! Thanks a lot, Don! I'm really happy that you liked it!
Thanks for subscribing, too! Take care & Happy New Year!
Can't believe I found someone with the same wave length as me! I too use drawer slides to keep my fence straight and easy gliding. Although yours is better since right now, I still use a chamfered lever to lock my fence into place. I'm gonna be stealing your ideas! :D
I'm happy that you liked my work, Mikhail!
Thanks a lot! Keep it up & Take care!
Um ótimo projeto, de simplicidade que somente mentes sofisticadas conseguem alcançar. Não percebi no vídeo aferição do corte antes da montagem final, mas tal passagem deve ser intuída por todos. Parabéns, desde o Brasil ...

Thank you very much. Best wishes!
Thanks for the reply to my comment. Brother I am having a doubt about the sliding bearing channel you have used on both the sides of the table, which are very smooth, is there any chance of error while working, once the fence threaded black knob is locked.
Please do reply.
Very cool!

Awesome work mate, I am going to be building a mobile 4 in 1 multi-purpose bench and going to use this, I would love it if you can do a tutorial on how to use Sketch-up, I just can not get started
What an absolutely fantastic idea. This has to be the best video I've ever watched on making a fence. Well done buddy, I hope you don't mind if I copy your idea for my own table saw?
Good thanks
Brilliant design, though appears quite complex, upon watching the video twice, i could fully understand the simplicity and accuracy of your design.
What a great idea! I like the fact that the fence lock is located centrally rather than at one end.
Also great use of drawer rails as fence guides.
Really clever mate.
