@@CuttaSquad heck yeah I seen it slide right thru that real tall grass, but I was just curious how was the QUALITY of the cut? For example, If the grass is tall and damp... How would it look it you cut it quick.
That does not sound right. Mine does not make that noise at all. Have you tried propping it up and spinning the blades to see if they're hitting the deck. Whatever you hit could have damaged the blade or spindle. Vibration along with that noise warrants further review before you possibly damage it more.
Just curious, does your fixed wheel version have the Honda engine in it? I have the FW with the csster wheels and Honda engine. I love it. Gets it done every time.
Boy oh boy... I've been searching for a push/walk behind mower that doesn't bog down when mowing thick, tall and wet grass for years.. I've seen the Honda 21" with their new 200 cc engine that is supposed to have the most torque on the market for 21" mowers. I've seen Toro and their Timemaster sporting 10 HP engine on a 30" deck.. And they all, without an exemption, always bogged down when confronted with wet and thick grass... Have I found the one that doesn't in the Ferris FW15? I don't get it. Why the manufacturers simply don't install a more powerful engine on a mower? Why not put the 270-300 cc engine on a Honda 21" commercial mowers? Or the 15 HP on a Timemaster? I've never heard anybody complaining how their mower is too powerful and how they wished it had less torque. Now back to the reality.. FW15 is great, it's a beast, it is just what I need, but I won't buy one.. Why? Well the price of course... For 2,5 FW15s I can get Ferris 400S which is a commercial 50" zero turn beast.
That’s some tall grass. Good job sir
Yes it was. But it cut right threw it 👍🏽

Funny to spend $3000+ and need a bungee to hold the side chute open. 😂😂😂
It be like that. Help the grass flow better
