They have to be one of the best bands out right now. Vocalist is on another level and their guitar tone is really unique and sick. They drop nothing but heaters.
I just enjoy seeing someone else get hyped up in a bad ass song!! Almost like a jam session with the boys looking at new music especially when I’m driving for work.
Why do I like reaction videos? That’s a good question I asked myself a few weeks ago for real. The answer to this isn‘t that easy oder ordinary as well. If I should pin it down to only one sentence I would say: To feel connected with other people. But that wouldn’t cover the depths of it. It nearly just scratches the surface. Over the last couple of year I disconnected myself more and more from the people around me. I lost myself in thoughts and doubts. I faked my smile and my mood every single day. I was nearly unable to feel joy or trust in my life. I felt misunderstood and as an outcast. I started to excessive listen to music all day long. Mostly Metalcore and other subgenres in this direction. Why? Because I can hear the pain. The suffer. The lost. The grief. I finally felt understood. And that from people who doesn’t know that i exist. But I felt connected. These kind of music took over my body and made me able to feel myself again. So I started to listen to music in another way. I noticed little twists and elements I never really noticed or appreciated before. This eye for detail is my most favorite part of hearing new music. And that’s the reason i love watching reactions. To see if people appreciate this little twists the way I appreciate them. To feel this joy again of hearing a sick breakdown for the first time. To see other people get goosebumps because of a sick guitar solo. To laugh about people get scared by a surprising heavy part or a goofy music video. I found a bunch of new friends over this type of videos and the people in your comments or your discord. It‘s one of the best feelings to have people thousands of miles away asking me about my opinion or my recommendation for a song. Or to set one on top: to get credits for a song I suggested. I felt like i became part of a whole new family! I feel like I‘m finally arrived. 🖤

DUDE. I WAS ASLEEP. I had never heard lvndmarks before but I saw all the reactors that I follow posting this song and I was like eh, maybe another day. Well today, I'm in the car waiting to pick my kid up and I was listening to my daily mix on spotify. This song came on and I was like hm I like this a lot, look at the title and started busting out laughing thinking to myself wow im an idiot! I stopped the song half way through and headed right over here because I wanted to experience this song for the first time with your reaction lol. Funny you asked why we watch. Its because we get this connection of "damn dude this song is sick!" And all that hype that we feel but we don't have people in our life that relate to this type of music. I only have my brother who introduced me, but there's only so many times a week I can bug him and send him new songs lmao. The End.

I like seeing the songs I love from different perspective so I can understand it even more also i like musicians and vocal coach's who can tell me why I love what I love so I can narrow my search and pinpoint artist that r in the same realm with what I like. Lastly I have discovered new songs and bands way faster since I am keeping up with reactions no more having an awesome song come out a year or 2 before I hear it for the first time.

None of my good friends listen to the heavy stuff so reactions have been awesome since Covid started. Haven’t had that type of interaction within the community that I usually get from going to shows all the time. I’m also an empath so listening to reactions is like listening from a fresh perspective with every reaction. Also Wake Up Call, Blistering, and Empty Place are all musts by these guys.

Ok let me try to wrap my head around this... the song starts with a grunge opening guitar riff, goes into a djent breakdown within the first 30 seconds, drops into hardcore vocals on the verse, then throws us into a linkin park nu metal hook, and then blows us away with a metalcore breakdown with grindcore vocals.....all this while the vocalist is doing the fucking 2-step. 🤦♂️ Coolest shit I’ve heard in a while...
The two parts of this video I watch for your facial reaction...you covered your face with the video. The first half of a second of a reaction to for instance that first guttoral on the later breakdown, I wanted to see that first half a second of your face changing that's where it's best, but you covered up.
