- When you're talking about Southern Hospitality cooking and service, 2 places come to mind, Mary Mac's Tea Room and Waffle House. One can be described as southern cuisine and the other a 24 hour place where you can enjoy a quick homestyle meal. And, let's not forget about our side trip to Buc-ee's!

Stuffing is stuffed in the bird. We make dressing down here in the south as a separate dish.

Hi! Worked 11 days straight but I have a 3 day weekend and need to catch up on videos…Best way to start a video with Lisa enjoying dessert! Omg! Look at that meatloaf wedge..😅Lisa ordered what I would order…Turkey and greens😊the star of the show the fried chicken! Added real Waffle House to my bucket list…now they make hashbrowns like I like them…crispy! Buc-ee’s in Atlanta!!! I'm 15 minutes away from the buccees n Robersdale Alabama , it's addicting, I'm here 2 or 3 days a week .

I always have a couple gallon and some quart size baggies in my purse! If I am traveling I carry even more in my suitcase! They are handy for so many things! And I rarely can finish my whole meal - and the take out containers are often not secure or are too big - so baggies to the rescue!

Bill and Lisa, that southern restaurant had some fantastic comfort food, it,looked so delicious especially the peach cobbler 😍 wow. The waffle,house waffles are huge and those breakfasts look yummy. That buc-ee’s is awesome

Bill and Lisa, just visited Buc-ees in Georgia. Holy Cow, cannot believe how huge and busy it was. Amazing variety of everything. Had the banana pudding and the Beaver Nuggets yummy!

Next time you're in the calhoun area, go 2 exits north to the red bud exit! My husband is a District manager for waffle house and has that store along with a couple of more!! We love your videos and he also loves that yuengling Hershey beer!

Awesome tour and you found a Buc-Ee’s 😻👍🍀, I bet Bill got a new t-shirt. The homemade chips in to-go warming trays are my favorite. The kolaches and egg rolls are also tasty. My husband retired a year ago and he wants to apply for part time 🤣

Incredible selection of beef jerky at Buc-ees! Pure sauced meat packed in that bbq brisket sandwich. It’s stuffed! Love it! Those Fruit muffins look delish too. Great description of Beaver chips as Corn Pops. I can taste them. Peach cobbler in first photo? Love Meat loaf with tomato topping. Turkey and dressing looks filling. Any celery and green peppers in stuffing? Pepper sauce on collard greens? I think I’d have to add black pepper to chicken, m&c.

Have you heard of the working conditions at Bucees? Sounds like they make you work hard. No sitting at break times. There are youtube reviews.
We were just showing an advertised board of their pay rates. Honestly, the workers we interacted with didn't appear or sound disgruntle.

What a great Georgia foodie adventure!!! I have never been to Buc-eee’s and want to get to one soon!! Best peach muffins in California is Ikeda’s up here in NorCal. They also have the best chicken and steak pot pies, if you’re ever in the area, check them out! ❤

You need to try the Mac and cheese at the OK Cafe. The waffle house gets busy overnights as it is one of the few eating establishments open 24-7.

@@billandlisa Avalon is a mixed use development with great shopping and restaurants. It is in a park like setting and includes a luxury hotel and a beautiful green space for relaxing and enjoying the nice weather. Cafe Intermezzo is a must for European desserts as well as Jeni's ice cream. Fun to walk around and dine at some of the best restaurants in the Atlanta area.
@@billandlisa Roswell is great as well. There are some extremely interesting historical sites, including antebellum mansions like Barrington Hall and Bulloch Hall (where Teddy Roosevelt's parents were married). There is also Roswell Mill, which dates to 1836 and played a key role in the Civil War, but now houses shops and restaurants, and also an historic covered bridge, dam and waterfall over Vickery Creek. Roswell history is so rich that there is even a ghost tour, and all historic sites are accessible within a very compact core area surrounding the town square. Historic Downtown Roswell is quaint but very popular, full of art galleries, antiques, and restaurants. You would love Table & Main (fried chicken, mac & cheese, etc) and Osteria Mattone (Italian). You might also like the craft brewery Gate City Brewing. Aside from that, Roswell is full of hiking trails, parks, creeks, and beautiful historic homes. Many Delta pilots call Roswell home.
