I have a lifted bed too and it's such a hassle climbing up because the ladders aren't useful; so I have to stand on my desk and then climb up. #thestruggle

Wow what college do you go to? You have a real big dorm for a freshman and real bright. I also love how you guys have the locked beds desk to give it like a loft and more space. My college, college of the holy cross doesn’t let us because of safety violations
do you guys like, ever fall off from the bed while sleeping? i actually love the idea of having a storage space or study space under the bed but the school should've provided some kind of protector at the side of the bed so that you guys wont get hurt. thats a really really high distance from the bed all the way to the floor. however, your room is really pretty yet simple, i would want a room like yours

Many kids in college don't even have jobs and their parents pay for their college as well as give them pocket money and buy them gifts (she mentioned her mom sent her a "care package" which had a designer perfume in it for example). These videos lowkey make me mad because I'm dirt poor paying my own way through college with 2 jobs and I can't afford any of this. I guess some people just have it easy
I'm very fortunate that my parents are paying for my accommodation, but everything else is up to me, including uni fees, food, and all that. I'm not angry, it's not her fault, and her room really does look great, so at least she didn't waste the money lol
She has parents that have worked very hard to one day pay for their daughter's college... goal accomplished. My god parents put money away to pay for mine
Idk exactly how it works in Australia, but here in US, we can have access to grants and loans and work. If you budget the funds wisely, u can pay up your rent for the length of the semester and utilities. Buy food and buy pieces of furniture here and there over time. Just keep and theme and color scheme and bargain shop. ☺☺☺
I think only the super popular dorm tours from bigger RUclips channels are actually themed. The people who don't "theme" their rooms either don't film a tour, and if they do, they don't get as many "so cute!" Or "goals!" comments, or likes, so their views stay low. Even though my family isn't "poor" (firefighter and secretary for parents) my parents expect me to be independent and aren't paying for my college, so I too am paying my own way through college. I have been petsitting, walking dogs, mowing lawns, and working as a soccer referee since I was 12, and I'm going to student work-study at college too. I'm definitely not theming my room. I am bringing everything from home. The super low-view dorm tours are waaaaaaay more realistic and middle-low class friendly.
