I’d want to start my own trucking biz eventually but I wanna get my feet wet driving first and got my CDL but my background been fcking me up ?
Like G Face is saying you need not just the 5k. That goes to him for his time which isn’t a bad deal. You also need to finance a semi truck and pay it monthly or all at once. You also need to pay for insurance every month. Also like he said if your driver gets a flat tire or the truck needs a repair what happens and who pays? You do. You need additional funds ready for that. The bare minimum will not cut it. 20k or 25k would be the new bare minimum basically. The more money the better just in case anything happens. Once the truck stops moving you aren’t making money off it anymore like G Face says.
