Memories of standing in the blistering Florida sun waiting for this ride, with the smell of the gas! A must do with the kids when they were younger.

Despite smelling, being slow, being old and being tacky this ride should stay as it is great for kids and has a certain nostalgia for disney fans who went as kids and should not be replaced. Happy to see ques are still large

It may be simple, but this is a ride I'm 100% sure my kid is going to love when we take him

They need to upgrade these cars to be electric, now with TRON in the background it is time to show some modern aspects in Tomorrowland. See if Tesla can sponsor the ride and make the cars, I know it will be missed - but times are a changing.
I can see that happening for sure! I think there were rumors about it, but the pandemic may have delayed that since Disney has canceled/postponed many projects

Thank you for this great video. Yesterday, my toddler was at the doctors office sick and wouldn’t stop crying, and then I remembered the speedway and how much he loved it. Sure enough, you had an excellent video with stable footage and panoramic views of the entire ride, and would you believe it made him happy! He heard the engine and pointed at the Tron ride, cheered “yellow” when the yellow cars showed up. Usually these videos are for me lol, but last night you made their day so much better! Thank you!

RE: Speedway
Haven't ridden this since 2010 (with 2 granddaughters).
Tried to take some other grandchildren in Jan. 2019, but this ride was closed (perhaps for Tron constuction?).

Thank you very much Ken! Yes, I think the ride was closed during that time in 2019 due to Tron construction. At the time, they where changing the route of the track

It did change a bit. Most recently some of the track was changed for the Tron construction

🏁Still popular! Great view of Tron! It used to have the best holiday overlay! I think MMRR w/another Tomorrowland item should have been considered for here. It would have joined Dumbo & has an extension of "the circus" feel instead of HS. IMHO-fine to disagree. Thx-this was diff. 15*F
It’s a classic for sure! The lines are always pretty long and steady daily for this, which is good to see. That holiday overlay was awesome! I hope it’ll be back next year. I do like that idea Liz! MMRR would have been a way better fit in MK. I mean, it’s gonna be in Disneyland so it should have been the same here. Thank you as always Liz!
That is a experience that you need to do in your first time coming but after is not necessary

Ditto on the EV idea. And howbout a Wreck-It-Ralph theme?! The girls would be outnumbering the boys to drive Vanellope von Schweetz' car in a Sugar Rush showdown. Disclaimer, that was our brilliant daughter's idea, not mine. As always, love this vid and all your vids 4K!

It’s moving along for sure, but not very fast since the new year began. They seem to be working most on the entrance ramp for the attraction
You suppose they'll ever change these over to EV's?
I could see that happening in a few years or so!
How does this attraction compare to Autotopia when it comes to the smell of gasoline and a swore leg working the peddle? Not going to lie. The scenery here looks nice because the Magic Kingdom is larger than Disneyland, but it seems like Autotopia is decorated more throughout the ride.

worst ride ive ever been on. The car controls is terrible and being stuck in traffic on a slope really sucks as theres not break
