That was such an amazing tunnel. My family and i did an Alaskan cruise/land tour in May and june of 2012. I fell in love with Alaska. I live in Massachusetts and have family in New Hampshire. Ive always loved the mountains. After sering the mountains in AK, New England mountains are like rolling hills compared to them. I dreamed of the mountains there for 6 months after I came back. I always said if something happened tonmy family, I'm moving to AK. I e wanted to go back for so long, but i got injured and am disabled now. I wouldnt be able to donit now. Im so glad i saw it while i could. Thanks for the ride ❤️
Hi Andrea, thank you for letting me ride along with you through the tunnel. Alaska is so pretty with all the mountains, snow, and history. Here in Kansas clouds are about the most exciting thing we can see. (Be nice.) Take care until we meet again.
Great, this tunnel is really long. Norway has such crazy one lane tunnels too but without lights inside. 😞 I like to drive long tunnel, like Gotthard, Arlberg, Laerdaltunnelen or Rennsteig. @Andrea Kuuipo, your name sounds like a name from Finland.
Cool video! I also liked the DECENT music, which was in this video. Good taste! Thank you for NOT having any distorted electric guitar crap in here. I enjoyed it. Being the winter person that I am, I've had thoughts from time to time about the idea of moving to AK. May God's peace be with you--in the name of Jesus. From John Nozum in WV
@@AndreaAdventures We are going there next month so wanted to get a sense of how long it takes in the que leading upto the tunnel (to pay the toll and que up). How long is the queue usually? is everyone who is queued up allowed to go through or you might have to wait for the next time it opens up in an hour?
@@baldeepanand It's usually pretty quick to pay and I've never seen a situation where not everyone made it through! You'd have to be very late to have to wait for the next tunnel opening.
Who is driving to Whittier this summer? 🤩
ME!!! We're doing the 26 glacier cruise
Awesome! That’s a great tour. You’ll see so many glaciers and hopefully wildlife!
What is the speed limit in the tunnel
Thanks for posting this. I've always wanted to see the whole thing
It's such a long tunnel but it's cool to come out the other side.
@@AndreaAdventures I've thought it would be a good setting for a movie with a secret entrance to an American underground military base
Thanks!
Thank you!

Beautiful!
Being claustrophobic I was starting to struggle just watching.
Oh wow. It would feel like a much longer drive for you then.
how long before the tunnel timings do you need to queue up?
You can actually still queue if the tunnel has already opened and people are already driving
