Thanks for this history and the photos. This would be a great project to build as a scale radio control model boat. I am going to look for any plans or hulls that are available to make a start.
Someone already built a model of her and posted a picture on LH fb in the comments of the first set of photos i posted last week prior to breaking up. They may have her plans to help you
Hi , my grandad was Albert Buck and he was on the Waverley when it was first built and ended up as a deck hand and the cook. He made a bolster wood model of the ship which we still have. Please can you let us know how you know so much about the Waverley ? Great video. Thanks for posting. Julie
You mean the thames tug waverley and not the paddle steamer waverley? I work on the Thames hence knowing her history. She is currently at the scrapyard in erith awaiting her fate 😔
