I just loved "It's an investment in my mental health"!! To share something so personal as your memories of the 5 of pentacles was amazing. Thank you so much! Yes to taking care of Mom's who took care of us!
I crocheted a bag for ONE deck, a very special deck for me, but I hesitate to crochet more Tarot/Oracle bags because as I am getting older, I am NOT going to remember which deck is in which bag. So original deck boxes work best for me.
I love to watch your videos. I like your response and views on decks & things. You make sense. Love your spirit. You're very pleasant to watch. Thank you.
As soon as I started watching the video the pattern on your shirt reminded me of your favorite deck…I couldn’t remember the name until you showcased it twice…Spolia. When you got up to show us the bagged deck, omg…the “Spolia shirt”! I guess Tarot is in one’s life more than one thinks….or maybe your choice in color and art carries across mediums and thus intertwined🙂. I have been enjoying your daily readings. The inspirational readingds would make a wonderful oracle deck.
@@BennyTheFoolsApprentice your readings have a very nice flow. When you identify a challenge, you offer advice. I can see these readings on a card-of-the-day oracle deck.
Thank you so much Benny for another great video. You always brighten my Sunday mornings when I watch your videos. The story around the 5 of pentacles is so beautiful and I really resonated with it so much (I am a single parent as well so this is very close to home). Funnily enough, the 5 of Pentacles is THE card for me that I avoid and triggers me because of my situation and what I have been putting my son through. How you explained what this card means to you has really helped me see this card in a different light. So much gratitude for you. And yeah, I get what your brother tells you about having “so many decks” (you can never have too many decks, as long as they fit in your house 😂) - I get the same from my son (to which I reply to him, why do you have so many video games?!) ❤❤❤❤❤❤
@christellesartfactory I so glad my perspective on the five of pentacles was helpful. Life is hard and we do the best we can. The best thing my mother did growing ups was letting me know how much she loved me. That stays with me above all else today. Thanks for watching. 😊
I'm glad to make your Sunday a little brighter. As for the 5 of Pentacles. The main reason I have such a reverence for the 5 of Penticles is the feeling of love that it brings up for me. The one thing I remember most about my childhood is the love my mother had for me. Knowing how much my mom loved me is the greatest gift she has ever given me.
Ohhh boy. Your description of the Three of Swords is brilliant. I never really felt connected to the idea of heartache for it because how often do we go through heartache? It's feels so specific - but the way you described it feels like a much more common human experience. Also, I'm not much of a fan of sunflowers either 😅
Thank you for mentioning the sunflowers. I knew I couldn't be the only one who did not like them, lol. The three of swords took me a while to understand, but watching other videos and listening to peoples perspectives helped me find my own. Thanks for watching. 😊
I really like the lighting set up for this video. You did really good! I know you always want to improve presentation so I just wanted to say the pink and blue with fairy lights is a great combo! Great tag too!
I agree with you on the Eight of Wands. It is so boring!! So I’m always drawn to decks that actually get original with that card. The card that means the most to me is the five of cups. I hope to move on to the eight of cups one day like the one in the Tarot of the Abyss.
I love how proactive she is in the 8 of cups; walking away dumping the contents of the cup. The five of cups is a place I’ve been in more than my fair share, but the 8 of cups has shown up many of times for me. 😊
Hi Benny, thank you so much for doing my tag 🤗 I loooved your chat about the questions 👐🌸 The story about your mum is very touching and your love for your mum shines through your being. The question where you talked about the sunflowers- I am sorry if it wasn't clear (english is not my first language), what I meant was, you know sometimes we love a deck but then there is just one card that we can't deal with (for any reason). Would that prevent you from getting that deck? OMG I have the same issue with the tags! I haven't received your tagging of my channel - I found this video via youtube suggestions.😵 Blood Moon Tarot is getting reprinted?! YAAAY, I had no idea 🥳
The Lubanko Tarot has two cards (the lovers, the devil) that I found disturbing. I initially did not buy the deck, but later came to realize those cards were there for me to work on something when they come up in a reading. This was a good hashtag, thanks.
@@thefoolsapprentice thank you for sharing and the compliment😊 for me is more like - if one of the cards is immoral or portrays racist/ignorant/homophobic etc things, then I wouldn't get the deck. One example is the Ancestor Spirit Oracle where the author uses "gypsy within you" to describe one of the cards and its just wrong on many levels, so that deck is a no go for me.
I used to not really like sunflowers either, until I grew some Texas wildflowers in front of my back porch and those small wild 'multi-head' sunflowers grew so prolific and tall, they embraced my back porch and back steps. I would sit on the back steps and just be 'one' with these sunflowers, and I felt their energy, presence and inner beauty. Although sunflowers are still not my favorite flowers, I felt sunflowers let me know how 'beautiful' they are from within their flower essence and floral soul.
