In this video we will design a digital power supply in just 10 mins with the help of the free tool ST WDS released for STM32 microcontrollers.
This free power supply design software will quickly stabilize the control loop, provide the coefficients for the STM32 MCU, plot the Bode plots and calculate the power stage components.

amazing. thank you so much for sharing these valuable contents. could you share more resources about how to get the values of control loops in detail? when I read datasheets about power supply design I can't find any resources on how the control loop values come from. is there any general modeling of different topologies.

great! Does this software also show me the au-to generated codes? Thanks

what is the point of the output filter tab? if the tool suggests some L and C values and we are having different L and C values on the board then how does the tool adjust this variation in L and C values? Does the tool re-calculate the coefficients according to the entered L and C values or does it adjust the Gain and Phase plots?

Hi Sir can you make tutorial how to make Single phase rectifier with soft switching pattern using STM32 circuit design

    Hi dear Ali Shirsavar,
I have a question about AC to DC PSU.
I need to convert AC voltage (12v to 48v input) to DC voltage (output 19v to 82v) with constant current output 350mA, with efficiency more than 85% and PF>0.85
    What topology would you suggest?

thats just the clock for the pwm, the actualy frequancy for the processor is 170mhz i think

Yeah the hrtimer pwm module has a resolution of 184ps, which works out right around 5.4ghz. I was confused initially when I heard that too.

It seems you are a pro, but I have challenge for you.
Can you design an offline isolated power supply that the controller be in Cold side instead of hot side? 🙂
(Without adding a 2nd power supply to supply the controller VCC)

unfortunately with a software like that you do not learn how the actual control loop design is done. I had made such a software in 2016, after that lots of server logged TI traffic was on my page investigating what I documented and show concerning that software. Then TI came out with a clone and now ST also copied it.....interesting to know because my genuine software is patented.

Dude every company had a buck designer tool way before 2016, but with a wide variety in features. Not to mention software patents are BS.
