I literally grew up next door to where the F-16 was manufactured. I used to see them on the flight line, in the hangers, flying around, etc. I remember some weird contraption in what looked like a parts yard off the road that had (what looked it anyway) a F-16 nose cone fastened to it. I was there and didn't move for years. Now I see F-35's. Growing up we moved a few miles away to a nicer subdivision. General Dynamics built a large windowless building that was at a satellite location from the actual factory. There is where they developed the F-22. It had some sort of special insulation to keep satellites from having a peek inside. They demolished the building a few years back, carted up the remains and sent it away. I am sure it was to hide what technology they used to keep it's secrets. Even funnier is General Dynamics (now Lockheed Martin) is attached to Carswell Joint Navy - Marine Reserve base (used to belong to the air force and was the largest nuclear bomber outfit in USA back in the 80s, from what I was told growing up. Well, Carswell as the legend goes was used to temporarily store the remains of the crashed UFO from Roswell, NM. I still remember the sorties the B-52s would fly-all our houses would shake and the noise was intense. All this right where the F-16 was made. I sure miss those days. I loved planes and wanted to be a pilot so bad. Unfortunately for me my eyes were bad. So I went into science.
Wow, what a beautiful bird, that's a job well done! As a Dutchie myself, I would love to build an F-16 equipped with this specific livery. Could you please tell me where you got these decals? Thanks!
super nice paint jobs
thank you :)

Great Job
Finally a Dutch viper.
Great job!
Nice work, I like the marking choice it gives life to the dull gray camo.
Thank you :)
What a Beuty!

Very nice work as always
One thing only.
I believe you have installed the exhaust ring the wrong way around 180degrees
Noticed it too (as the rest is perfect). Must be due to aftermarket as Tamiya would not allow for user error.
Yes, unfortunately. I had to use a PW exhaust, since the academy exhaust does not fit the tamiya, I can combine it this way as close as possible.
Very nice. I want to do a Danish one with a red tail and a viking on it. Lol. Scandinavian countries have the best finishes.
Awesome job, congratulations! new subscriber ;)
thanks :)
