❤ Thank you very much for the first time I learned how one has to paint with acrylic. It will time and practice to get better at it. I have been so disappointed with acrylics but today I saw how you were controlling painting the waves. I am very grateful for all your explanations. You are an exceptional teacher. Thank you.❤
Hi David. Just finished watching you paint this Seascape all the way to the end. The painting is beautiful, and your thanks at the end makes it obvious why we love you so much. You're the best. So glad you're able to be back at the easel. It's good that you're taking it slow. Looking forward to the floral and the swan. JV
David, I am so thankful you are recuperating well. Excited to see new videos from you however slow is good. God bless you and all you do for your viewers!
I really am just amazed at how much you share and the ability to make magnificent paintings for all of us out here- trying to learn- you are very inspiring! Thank you and God bless you and your family!
You are the best teacher. I love how you explain everything and don't assume that we can figure out just by watching. Question - where to get Open Medium?
Beautiful!! Love the colours in the sand...and the ocean . Thanks for recommending to watch Richard Mulgrave Evans Very interesting! He has definitely seen a lot of Australia .. Bit more than me 😊. Take care David 🌼🌻
It is always a delight to watch and learn from you. I find all of your work absolutely magnificent and par excellence. I have followed your tutorials and been practicing more. I have a handful of paintings. I need your permission if I may post them on Instagram and sell them.. Thank you for all you do!
I think this is the second video that you've mentioned Richard Musgrave-Evans that I've seen and he is a phenomenal painter! I also love that you give shout outs to other artists!
You mentioned that you liked Richard Evans . I looked up and viewed several of his paintings and liked them. He is what I call a happy go lucky painter. Very good with color and laying in color next to existing color. I know another person that is exactly like this person. His name is Stuart Davies from England. All three of you have that laying in of color next to each other and do not blend. You are more deliberate and exacting on how you do it. And have much more experience or knowledge of paint and mixing, plus you are extremely good at explaining the methods and techniques of applying paint. The other two end up with masterpieces, but I do not feel I can go out and apply what I see 0:02 them do. Plus they paint in oils not acrylics. Another person I like is Carder, however I feel like I would have to paint for 10 years before I was any good. And he teaches for the purpose of placing your painting in a gallery, which requires a light on it just to see it. I have watched about 35 of your paintings, and am ready to start painting my problem is that I have already so many acrylic paints that I am not sure I can buy enough to start painting you paintings. I bought the Zorn package but that is not enough paints. And you were out of the medium, so I need to find a substitute for it. I bought the extender as it came with the package. My experience is that I have painted around 50 oil paintings and about 50 acrylic paintings. I probably have viewed 300 or 400 other peoples paintings. I like yours because you have such a variety of paintings to watch and yet their is a style from one to the next and the terminology is the same. Like half tone, etc. I will keep watching you and very soon start actually painting. Is there any paint out there that is close to use until I can spend another $100 to get the rest of your paints. Especially the medium, is other open medium close?
It is the first one I did with you! I love it ! Thank you !❤ you are so nice! My English still not good but I understand you😊. I’m trying to paint your beautiful flowers it’s so difficult 😛 I’m going to make it….one day…
Aunque la traducción que hace google de sus videos es espantosa, me quedo extasiada viéndolo pintar y cómo los pinceles y espátulas se deslizan como si fueran mágicas. Cuánto aprendo con usted con sólo mirarlo! Gracias y gracias! Saludos desde Argentina
Thank you so much for the tutorials. You are an excellent tutor. It really helps me a lot. May I ask, do you mostly use white for the seascapes to prepare the canvas? Sincerely Elmarie Hall😊

É muito querido, adoro😂
Beautiful! So…the Heritage acrylics and extender, open medium, gel, etc. will cause the acrylics to act like oils?
Yes. They don't work with all acrylics though. Yes, they slow down and give you lots of working time.
Lindo ❤

I really love watching you painting. I wish your heritage colours were available in Australia. Are Matisse colours similar to heritage?
It's a very nice painting 🎨🪄😉
Thank you so much 😀
Great video. I can’t get the palette knife marks right. Whenever I try to pull the knife down like you do, I wind up with scratches in the painting
More paint and a little thicker paint. Makes if more difficult to move and give more resistence to the knife.
@@JansenArtEducation thanks for the reply!
Learning Acrylic is quite interesting compared to watercolour
Yes, different looks as well.
What and where do i get the basic brush line of yours?
