Take That were born for live performances, it’s their strength along with music, which probably is too pop for some people but it’s real music, they make it themselves, with their own talents, sweat, blood, successes and mistakes. Love them, they are true devoted musical artists. And Gary Barlow is one of the best vocalists now.
I LOVE their X Factor performance. It was Robbies ”comeback” in the group. I mean… seeing them all together again was just so emotional and I think it was for them as well after all the years of bitter fights they were friends again. This was 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I was always a Robbie fan but I agree Mark is the cutest. 😍
The Flood was like a religious experience
Oh while I think of it, you should see "Robbie Williams Back For Good Live At Knebworth ft Mark Owen". It was filmed in summer 2003 when Robbie was massive and Take That hadn't yet reformed. Their bond is evident here and they are just having fun with it.
Also my favourite live version of Back for Good is "Back for Good ( live 2010) " as it was filmed shorty after Robbie rejoined the band. No lip synching, just a simple performance around the piano. I love how happy Mark looks to have Robbie back! And obviously they sound great.
This is why they are the most amazing boy/man group ever! Fun, energy, talent and obvious fabulousness!
Mark has always been my favourite, you have excellent taste. Also the Brit awards performance was the first time they performed Back for Good and people loved it so much they had to bring the release date for it forward by a couple of weeks
That's Take That for you ! If you're having a bad day, these guys will brighten it up for you ! At least that's how I feel about them.
The Give good feeling performance was sooooooo good 🤩🥳 And the flood was so on point. They always harmonized so perfect with their voices 🥰 I would love to see them all 5 back together on stage 😍

Your reaction to relight my fire had me in stitches! 🤣 I was at the recording of the that tour in Manchester in 1994, I was 14(god, I’m showing my age now!🤣) and it was my first concert, the tour was called ‘hometown’
When they did their come back tour in 2006 a singer called Beverly Knight joined them to sing ‘Relight’ and she was phenomenal, definitely one to check out. But Lulu, wow! She was brilliant!
The band have been with them since the 90s and stayed with them. Mike Stevens is the Sax 🎷 player.
I saw mark just recently at a festival, i elbowed my way to the front. He packed the tent out and he was amazing, his solo stuff is brilliant, it really is! He is such a sweetie, he was so humble and genuinely amazed at how many people came out to see him 😍😍

Honestly, the whole tour was hands down the best show I’ve seen in my life, I felt so privileged to be there and at the filming of it too 😍😍

Take That Present: The Circus Live - Whole concert is spectacular but highlights for me are The Garden (don't want to post any spoilers but I promise its amazing), Shine, What is Love and Clown Medley.
Take that - Progress live - Never Forget. My favourite performance of that song - also my favourite era of TT.
Take That - Kidz (Live at the Brits 2011). The Progress Live version is an amazing production but I really love Mark's energy in the Brits one! Also men in uniform, what's not to like 😂
Late to the party so you may have already seen these. You need to watch Take That in concert, the production that goes into them is phenomenal, it's not just a concert it's a show. The Circus tour or Progress tour are exceptional. I have actually lost count how many times I've seen them or just Gary live and I'll be seeing them again in June ❤

Whilst I agree that the Circus live is their most visually spectacular show, Progress Live comes a very close second. I just love the chemistry the 5 of them have together. Never Forget and The Flood in particular, I also think you would enjoy the choreography in Kidz.

I love how much fun and energy these guys have on stage. I think you will have great fun watching them perform: "Rock n Roll Medley" Live in Berlin - each band member gets to take centre stage "auditioning" to be in a 1950's rock and roll band. "The Clown Medley" from the Circus Live - performing their early hits in great comedic style! Also "The Beatles Medley" from the Hometown Live In Manchester tour - all band members (even Jason) take in in turns on lead vocal - Robbie's energy at the end of this is insane. Enjoy!

the flood on the X factor was their first performance as a 5 since they broke up 10 years before so the emotions from robbie is from him being welcomed back by the crowd so loudly
I'm pretty sure it was 15 YEARS,not 10. The split with Robbie was 1995,they split in 1996. They reformed in 2005, but this was 2010 with the release of 'Progress' and the single 'The Flood'

Im a huge Mark Owen fan and I think you would enjoy Shine (Circus Live) and Babe (Live in Berlin). He has released some great solo material too - please,please check out I Believe In The Boogie, Carvinal and Four Minute Warning.

Oh my goodness, you are making me so happy, this has brought me sooo much fun also. Take That were the quintessential 'boy band' in my opinion. Robbie is the love of my life, but throughout their separation and bitterness , I still loved the rest of the band, when they got older and got over it, they came back together like they had never been apart. Yes, it even gets better with the Circus Tour..
Take that - now I don't consider them boyband anymore- but they were the best boyband, they had a perfect discography with a classic pop tunes. They did all the songs by themselves ( initianlly by only Gary). They are criminally underrated.

I think this may be my favourite video you've done yet. Well done, dude. I wish I could like this video 100 times.
I love how much effort they put into their tours. I'm sure you know this already, but the scale of the production for Relight My Fire and Give Good Feeling becomes even more impressive once you realise that ..... all their performances are like that. They could have just sat there singing their songs on a stool and all the fans in the audience would have loved it, but what did they do? They brought the production and the energy and they haven't stopped since. Every tour they've done since coming back is a show worthy of a Vegas residency.
And the Give Good Feeling and Relight My Fire videos are indeed ridiculously hot, but honestly? I think the time they did a tango version of It Only Takes A Minute on the Ultimate Tour is the hottest thing they've ever done. Jason and Mark in that performance ... God help me.
Finally, I'm sure you've already watched it and recorded a vid of it at this point, but it deserves repeating: you should watch the Circus tour.

The performance at the Xfactor was when 1D were contestants on the show... and it was the first time Robbie had joined them on stage since he left the group... great performance!!!
Another recommendation for "Take That Comes To Town" (originally broadcast in 2008), it's a fantastic production, probably my favourite TV special they have done so far. There is also "An Audience With Take That" (2006) and "An Evening With Take That" (2017), which I also love.

Their Beatles Medley from ‘Hometown - Live in Manchester’ is pretty special, as is Could It Be Magic from the Beautiful World tour. Pretty much anything from The Circus is incredible, the Clown Medley is hilarious.

Ahhh LuLu....this is definitely a far cry from "To Sir With Love" hahaha I too have always loved LuLu's tone, it's like powerhouse raspy soulful invasion :p and of course it figures, Jason and Howard were the shirtless ones LMAO...who happen to be the actually trained dancers in the group!

Can you explain why this group wasn't just as well known and popular in America as they were in Europe? As a music obsessed American, I'm pissed that they didn't catch on here.
If you enjoy TT then you'd enjoy their documentaries, the first being Take That for the Record. Their story is so interesting.

The fact that saw that live show with my mum when I was about 14 makes me cringe a little. Just found your channel and so happy you've found Take That, I've been a fan since I was 11 and I'm still obsessed. Mark Owen was my fave out of the band and he regularly got sexiest male for a few yrs running in the early mid 90s in every teen mag going! The tour where they did that Give Good Feeling performance parents were complaining of how sexual it was when they took their teen daughters to see them live! I didnt see them live until the next tour after it but at the time of that tour I was 13 so you can imagine how some of the parents were reacting! Some wrote into magazines about it! That band were definitely prob some girls sexual awakening!! I remember getting that live video and always being embarrassed about watching that song infront of my parents!
The Flood performance I think the emotion is there as it was 1 of if not the 1st performance with them as a 5 piece again when Robbie rejoined. If you notice the chemistry between Mark and Robbie on it they were the best friends in the band when they were originally out.
My fave live performance of Relight My Fire is the 1995 tour at earls Court I suggest you watch that.
A recent favourite of mine is Cry its a great song and great live we even do it at the clubbercise class I go to!
Recommend Babe from the live in Berlin that's the 1st tour I saw them on and that hands down is the best live performance of that song ever.
You really should watch Patience that they did live in a huge stadium. The vocals and atmosphere is just awesome 👌❤️

There's a live performance of The Flood where Robbie's mic malfunctions and Mark picks up his line while someone brings out another mic. I don't remember where it was, but it was handled almost without a hitch.

That Flood performance brought this ancient thatter to tears......though they were in tune on stage...not so much behind the scenes, Jason was out 8 months later!
That performance of The Flood was in 2010 (before the Progress tour in 2011) - Jason left in 2014 🙂

Love this video so much!! If you want more live performances, I definitely recommend Kidz from Progress Live. And any performance from The Circus tour is amazing because they put so much effort into their performances. If you want to hear a song with Jason Orange's lead vocals, check out either Wooden Boat or How Did It Come to This, the live performances of these songs are good, he's such a great vocalist (and an even better dancer, you'll see if you watch the Kidz video I recommended above!), but he unfortunately left the band in 2014.
The Flood performance was the first time they performed as a 5 since Robbie had left. After Robbie stepped away from music in mid 2000s and went to rehab he rejoined the band for an album and a tour. He left on much better terms this time and time from time has rejoined them on stage (but they will only be a 4 with him since Jason has finished and disappeared off the face of the earth.
Gary is so amused with Robbie's overexcitement at the beginning of Flood 6:30 :D But proud too! Robbie must have also been a little anxious about joining TT on stage and facing the audience and fans for the first time after all the bad things he had said about the band when he left.
Back for good was definitely lip-syinced, i believe most of their TV performances are.

I loved them since I was 11. I never got to see them live though til I was 39 and there were just 3 left but man I just cried! lol. I'd seen Robbie 3 times by then cause how couldn't you? He's a God! I love they are being recognised on here. They are HUGE here. .... oh god I've just melted watching this. When you know the story behind Robbie coming back in the second song it's so powerful. As for Howard's arse... wow were there some complaints about that !!! You are hilarious btw. GGF is sooo sexual now im older, jesus! Kids were watching this!
