Thank you for watching lol. Appreciate it. I've done this stuff for several years and have never been a social media type guy believe it or not, but I've had several requests from people saying I should start a youtube channel posting the work I do because I would be good for the camera etc. So here I am finally. haha Just getting started
First, a question, then a comment. What was that lube spray at the end? At first, I thought it was WD-40 but the can looked different. Ok, now my comment. That yellow jacket you swatted away reminded me of an incident with my wife. We were over at my parents house, my wife was running the lawn mower, and I was digging out some bushes, with plans to replace them with patio bricks. Anyway, I hear a scream from my wife! She was stung by a yellow jacket, that came out of a nest built in the mulch surrounding a tree trunk. I have never seen a nest built low to the ground like that, but she rolled over it with the mower, and pissed them off bad! I told her to run inside the house, as I tried to get the mower away, but then they swarmed me. I got 5 stings in the back of my neck, so I ran inside the house too. My wife has 1 sting around the front of her neckline. After about 15 mins, she started having problems breathing, so I rushed her to the ER. They injected her with, can't remember for sure, but I think it was Benedryl. Soon after that, she was okay, but they said the next time would be worse, so they gave her an EpiPen to carry with her in the future. The yellow jacket in this video looked like it was just starting to make a nest, it looked like only one was there, but if several yellow jackets are together, if you swat one, the rest will immediately go on the attack! Beware! 😂 lol
Make a coupling by sliding a 6" or so length pipe with a large enough inside diameter over one of the broken bars, then raise both broken sections up and slide half of the "coupling" over the other broken section and hang it from the old center support.
cutting the cables is too easy but also still have to put the cables on when the door is down. I just tried to show a different way on doing it ya know. Just slap an ole piece of angle iron on to get it to work good enough to lift and put the cables on with the door raised bc it's easier. But so is cutting the cables. lol Thanks for the feedback sir
Excuse my ignorance amigo but isn't it dangerous to cut the cables? or it's dangerous when the door has the torsion spring system already and then, you cut the cables
I don't mess much with wayne dalton systems at all. overall quality just isn't there. Even the doors made of pure foam basically. Rather not. But each to his own for sure.
Man, I asked him and tried to get him to get into one but this guy is a landlord and does not want to spend the money. He said he could care less if the tenants lift the door by hand, or not.
Cut the cables. Convert to torsion springs. Piece of cake
Good job amigo. You're a professional installer.
Thank you Amigo! Lol for real. Much appreciated!
Great video and thanks for the laughs, brother!

you should have been here on site, lol.
convert it to a traditional torsion spring system. Put the glovers on and cut the cables.

I install wayne dalton cables when I do conversions.

Is he going to get a opener for the door
