I am literally shocked by the beauty of Chinese cities.all of 'em are looking so organised,neat & clean,historically well preserved,nothing less than the best of the best cities of Europe & America as well.
The first car showroom was of Lotus, a British sports car brand own by Chinese now. The Urus looking SUV is electric and made in China and the sports car is called Emira (ICE car) which is made in the UK, I test drove it a few days ago. Zeekr is a high end Chinese electric car company, the two cars in the showroom were the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr 009, the later one is an MPV. Both the cars have a lot of technology incorporated in them, including the first Qilin battery which has a range of almost 1000KM on a single charge. Next time when you see a showroom, just walk in, they are very friendly and let you video the car.

If you like the city like Hangzhou, I advice you to visit my hometown Chengdu, which is also a very traditional and modern huge city in China, and it is the capital city of Sichuan province. And most of international tourists love Chengdu because of its pandas.

I am from Hangzhou, these places are good, but are normal compred with other cities in China. u may visit Mao jiabu(茅家埠）, Long JIng tea mountain（龙井），Su Di(苏堤)……to expolre the unique and historical city of Hangzhou. It's would be extrem hepful if u have a local guider to lead u to visit these places. HangZHou, as well as India, is an ancient city with deep culture and history.

I visited Hangzhou back in April of 1999. I rode a boat around the lake and it was beautiful. However, the city has really modernized since I was last there! It looks so high tech now compared to 24 years ago since I last visited. Great video!

The first time I visited Hangzhou's West Lake was the summer of 1986. The price of a cup of premium green tea was about 20 cents US (US dollar .20). My how the city has developed especially over the past two decades. Do drink the green tea which is famous. No need to add milk and sugar. 😉
Now that you are in Hangzhou, why not visit the nearby water town of Wuzhen? Feel the charm of Oriental Venice. There is also Qiandao Lake, where you can feel the uncanny workmanship of nature. I had been to Hangzhou this April and May, and believe me or not I was not ready to come back to India( Because the life their was very different, I got used to the environment there in a week!!), the people their are so friendly and welcoming they dont treat us like we are tourists they treat us like we are one among them, and the safety there is actually good, anyone can go anywhere they want, you will just need a device to talk the with the people, if you know chinese then its the best place to live, but as first preference I ALWAYS LOVE INDIA, I wish in the near future China and India have a very good mutual understanding.

The first car showroom was of Lotus, a British sports car brand own by Chinese now. The Urus looking SUV is electric and made in China and the sports car is called Emira (ICE car) which is made in the UK, I test drove it a few days ago. Zeekr is a high end Chinese electric car company, the two cars in the showroom were the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr 009, the later one is an MPV. Both the cars have a lot of technology incorporated in them, including the first Qilin battery which has a range of almost 1000KM on a single charge.
Next time when you see a showroom, just walk in, they are very friendly and let you video the car.

I am from Hangzhou, these places are good, but are normal compred with other cities in China. u may visit Mao jiabu(茅家埠）, Long JIng tea mountain（龙井），Su Di(苏堤)……to expolre the unique and historical city of Hangzhou. It's would be extrem hepful if u have a local guider to lead u to visit these places. HangZHou, as well as India, is an ancient city with deep culture and history.

I visited Hangzhou back in April of 1999. I rode a boat around the lake and it was beautiful. However, the city has really modernized since I was last there! It looks so high tech now compared to 24 years ago since I last visited. Great video!

I had been to Hangzhou this April and May, and believe me or not I was not ready to come back to India( Because the life their was very different, I got used to the environment there in a week!!), the people their are so friendly and welcoming they dont treat us like we are tourists they treat us like we are one among them, and the safety there is actually good, anyone can go anywhere they want, you will just need a device to talk the with the people, if you know chinese then its the best place to live, but as first preference I ALWAYS LOVE INDIA, I wish in the near future China and India have a very good mutual understanding.

Take life expectancy of both China and US as example. In 1950 China life expectancy is about 38 vs US 68. After 71 years, in 2021 China life expectancy is 78.2 vs US 76.1( latest figure by CDC , US life expectancy dropped by 3 in 2020-2021 period from 79.1 originally). China expectancy increase by 40 years while US increase by 8 years only. China life expectancy increase 5 time faster than US.
Also Look at health care by comparing MMA rate( maternal mortality rate): in 1950 China maternal mortality is 1500 women death per 100,000 birth vs US 100 women death per 100,000 births. And people in China retire at 55 years old on average to access pension. About 12 years earlier than US's 67 years requirement while some countries may not have pension at all. It means an American need work extra 40*52*12=25,000 hrs in his life than an average person in China. It also means an American only has 9 years to enjoy retirement while an average person in China has 22 years to enjoy retirement.
Also it is not means or asset tested when access pension in China. It means you get your pension monthly even you stay overseas, are a multi-millionaire or have another job after retirement.
