Literally, just got back from a 7 day stay. Hadn't seen this video until now, and the fact that I'm looking up/watching videos tells you how much of an impact this island made. Loved it! GREAT VIDEO!!! I will go back again...
Pete it's your old barber here, you've literally made my day watching this, so glad it has got 25k views, it's a shame the subscribers aren't in the thousands but I love watching your videos I hope your well, and soon we will see alot more once lockdown is over much love mate
Hey Sean, really appreciate your support brother, although I haven’t bothered pushing it anymore and giving up the videos, but I’ll still travel and have fun. Hope some of them inspire you to travel also. ✌🏻
I've been to Kuramathi two times (2009 & 2013) and the island has changes a lot 😍 This video really wants me to go back for another vacation. Thank you so much for this amazing video and all the impressions 🙏🏻
I was looking into staying at a more “luxurious” one like the One and Only. But found this one and watched some videos and fell in love with how the beach looks and MANY different restaurants and bars. Gonna save a bundle thanks !
You will not be disappointed!! Plus the more expensive resorts do. It offer the a la Carte all inclusive option, which if you love your food and drink you must go for 😃 have a lovely time and thanks for watching. Glad the video helped you choose.
I went there for 5 days and it was heaven, wish I had seen this video before hand because I didn’t try so much of the stuff shown in this video 😢. I really just relaxed and went to bars at night. I just got back and I am feeling so depressed, wish I could go back again
20:12 its written Mikonos , not mikinos .. And its a Greek Island .. I'm from Greece.. Haha..!! We will go to Kuramathi in one week for our honeymoon! Cant wait! Thanks for sharing !
Excellent video I’m going here in the spring for 6 days. What is the difference in the over the water pool Villa and the Thandi over the water pool Villa?
Great video. Thanks for making it. If you were going back there again, where on the island do you think you would stay - and what room type would you choose?
Hi Martin. Do you prefer new contemporary style rooms or more rustic style villas. Are you on a budget? Do you want to be in the best area to snorkel? If you give me an idea of what you want I can give you a better idea of what Villa style to opt for 👍🏻
Amazing video, and the only one I’ve see which covers the food and drink and the prices. With the all inclusive package is all the food free from the different restaurants? And the snorkel you use, is that free to rent or is that your own?
Hey Ian. I know what you are saying. People want to see food and prices right 😃 You need to be a little careful as they offer a couple of all inclusive packages. You need to choose the Al la carte dining all inclusive package if you want to eat in all the specialty restaurants, otherwise it’ll just be the buffet restaurants you’ll get. Yes it’s more money but OMG it’s so worth it bro! The only thing extra on the menu is Lobster but there is so many amazing options on the menu you won’t want the lobster. Thanks for watching and if you have any other questions don’t hesitate to ask. Enjoy
Oops forgot to mention the snorkel. They do offer you free rental everyday but they give you the old school snorkel and masks, and if you are a novice like me all you end up doing is swallowing water and getting a bad stomach ( past experience here ) so buy one like we had and bring it with you and then just borrow their flippers if you need them. Trust me you will be in the water so much and you don’t want to be faffing around with the other masks. Just get the full face ones and enjoy what’s underneath rather than worrying about swallowing water and your mask always steaming up. You’ll thank me later 👍🏻
Thanks for this video impressions. I booked a water villa for June this year. But after watching your video I noticed all the distance on the island. I am disabled and can walk only few meters by rollator. What do you think how can I handle the huge distances maybe from our room to the restaurants is there any support available?
Hi, thank you kindly for watching the video. If you are in the water villas you see first, the brown looking ones then they are in the centre of the island. There are buggies on the island but I would imagine you would have to phone reception and ask them to come and get you, which I’m sure they would be more than happy to do for you. Otherwise you can walk across from the water villas to the shuttle bus stop, maybe 1-4 minutes walk depending on where your villa is positioned and you can jump on that, although they can take a while to come around, so I would recommend calling reception and explain your circumstance and hope they can accommodate your needs with a private golf buggy. Perhaps you could also ask them if they would allow you to rent a personal one for yourself for the time you are there. That would then give you total freedom. I hope this helps. Any more questions please feel free to ask 👍🏻 safe travels
Brother i am disable too cant walk too much .happy to see there are people like me i can relate. Tom can tell your experience because i also thinking to come🥲
@@godpinakyt Be honest after 2 weeks on this island I cannot recommend a stay there. They are not prepared for disabled people! We are forced to change the water villa because no railings into the water entries, no other "amenities" for people like me and you. The only possibility the offered to us was the use of a Honey moon villa. But unfortunately they charged us 2400 $ extra payment. But even on the inbuilt pool in our Honeymoon villa there were no railings. So they gave us some helping equipment that I could enter the indoor pool with some difficulties. And even inside our villa you have to overcome stairs furthermore you have to climb stairs everywhere, after this two weeks I became a climber. Also to enter the seaplane by rough sea condition was not a child's play! The servants and the buggy drivers were very friendly and helpful over our complete stay.
Great video! I'm planning to go for honeymoon end of September. We will have 2 luggages. Us there any place where to put them in that seaplane? I see everyone in your video not carrying anything so I'm a bit confused
Don’t panic. The luggage all gets put at the back of the sea plane. It comes with you. It’s amazing what they squeeze in 👍🏻 thanks for watching, you’ll have the best time 😃
@@pbtvtravelandfood1667 Thank you so much for the answer!! I have other questions please if I can ask them to you? This would be my first time to the maldives and I need advice on many things! Do you have instagram or any other ways to contact? Thank you again 😊
Hey..awesome video. the 2 bed beach houses shown at 7.26 don't have any trees around them and the later ones are surrounded by dense vegetation. Which are the good ones? Any recommendations?
Thank you so much for watching. I couldn’t say which house numbers would be the best as I wasn’t staying in them, but if you want to snorkel lots then I don’t recommend staying in them as the top part of the island where these more modern buildings are, the ocean is very quiet. The main house reef is down at the bottom of the island, and is so much of a better place to stay, but if you want clean and modern then stay in the top part in these homes. Sorry I couldn’t be of any more help with this question. Have the best time away
@@pbtvtravelandfood1667 Thanks a lot. This makes it a catch 22 situation as we love snorkeling and always prefer modern decor accommodation. Been to Maldives thrice in the last nine months. Have a kinda expectation bar set now.
I'm thinking of booking this. Kindly confirm how's the vegetarian food as I'm a vegetarian. Also, what kind of choices are there for sea food, as my fiance is a non vegetarian. Is the food good for Indian taste?
There is a lovely see food restaurant so you won’t be disappointed, it’s beautifully positioned over the water. Not being a vegetarian I wasn’t really looking out for those options I’m afraid, but with there being a huge Indian influence in the dishes I don’t imagine you’ll struggle with finding something delicious to eat. Thank you for watching the video and I hope you have a lovely stay
Hi Jill. So realistically in the heat and the chilled flip flop vibe it takes about 45 minutes to walk from top to bottom, but there are pit stops ( bars and ice cream 🤤) half way up the island so you can rest. Or if it’s too much you can wait for the shuttle bus which constantly runs up and down the centre of the island if the walk gets too much. But the walk is just so beautiful you won’t want to hop on the bus 😃 I hope this helps. Anymore questions don’t hesitate to ask
Yes my friend, there were plenty of reef sharks 🦈 swimming around you. It’s completely safe 👍🏻 it’s beautiful under the water enjoying the wild sea creatures in their natural habitat 😍
Currently watching this laying in the bed at room number 77 on our final night!!! Will miss it here

Can’t argue with any of that! It’s a wonderful place. Thanks for watching and commenting. Hope you get to travel again soon 😎

I am wondering if it cost a lots money to stay there?
Out of all the numerous resorts around Maldives, you helped make my choice easier mate. Cheers for the detailed info, prices, and scenes!
You are very welcome. Great choice. Happy travels 😎
Amazing review mate. One of the best I’ve seen. Clear and to the point. Thanks!!!

Ja das stimmt ich war da 2018 mit meiner Frau echt sehr schön
I'm going to the Maldives in 2 weeks time and after watching your video you have inspired me to stay at this resort.
This is amazing! It’s exactly why I do it. You have a great time, you won’t be disappointed 😎
Some of the modern bars and restaurants look amazing! Never thought I would see a two story bar on a island, Great in depth video 😁
Glad you enjoyed, thanks for watching

Hi, guests under "All Inclusive" packages are they entitled to having ala carte meals as featured in your video?
Superb video!
Thank you 🙏🏻
the video is great but plz make sure the music isnt this loud. i had to keep adjusting my volume after u speak.

Hi! Just came across this video! We are heading there and is it better to get the all inclusive or just pay? Thanks so much!!
Great content, thanks for sharing. Which month did you visit the island? It seems to be empty ...

How much it will cost to seaplane
I think from memory it was about £350 per person return or about £80 for the boat. 😎
