This post struck me: I've always viewed "individuals" as a negative. Perhaps from military training where heard it used towards someone first - someone isn't doing something right (like in drill) and the "leader" calls them out "Oh, so we got an 'individual here'/ you want to be an individual" - so that always stuck with me... Now after watching this I'm thinking that the "Individuals" are more than just the "Followers"/"doers", and have a higher standard, moral compass, emotional intelligence, and work ethic. We need more "individual minded leaders".
@Randall You are both clearly an individual AND a leader.

I’m an individual who values my own path. I don’t aspire to be a follower or a leader; leadership doesn't resonate with me. I prefer to live in my own little world as a simple individual. I don’t concern myself with the opinions of leaders, nor do I follow others if it doesn’t feel right to me.
My attitude isn't about hating anyone; it’s about staying true to myself. I’m neither accustomed to leading nor following.
When I was 14, we moved to a village. My new friends and I went to a woman who taught Arabic at her home. As soon as we arrived, my friends began doing her house chores, which confused me. I asked one of them, "Did we come to study or to do chores?" My friend relayed my question to the woman. The next day, she stopped assigning chores to the girls and began focusing on teaching us. After our lessons, we volunteered to help with her chores.
That simple question changed both her routine and that of my friends. It revealed what had become normal to her as a mistake.
This is just one example among many. At that time, I didn’t care if she disliked my question; I just asked what felt right.

2:00 Yes, I notice that when I give those I can trust totally total control as mutual authorities in our non controlling creative enough to accept the facts we find out environment it all works out I always just learn more every single day & our work is never done & I can work with others forever according to that mutually reputational* elegant mutualist reciprocity 'yes I am an individual environment' (science), "leaders" are exploiting this system & do not have the rep to back up their exploitation
In my world nobody wants to be leader or president we let everyone take turns

This topic is very interesting but extremely complex.
However only to mention one of many aspects: it's also fair to say that if a leader is well balanced, unbiased and truly interested in the welfare of his community, then his followers will be also individuals.
*I think no one would ever admit to be a follower.....

The individual's goal is peace and empowered autonomy through democratic and information-driven methods.
To each their own. It's dangerous to be a follower (lack of autonomy) and it's dangerous to be a leader (social stigma). Life is dangerous.

Ooo I like these videos about personal growth. I like to think I’m an individual because I don’t believe in leadership in the traditional way-so many flaws in the way leaders lead in my experience. I’m motivated by what I care about (not always confidently but passionately if that makes sense) which ironically isn’t just about me but about the greater good. And I think leadership should be non-hierarchal. I also don’t quite believe in a follower because I think often times people are learning their way (what they like and don’t like) when they are perceived to be followers. But that’s my perception. I like the nuances of this topic. And I also feel a little embarrassed that I haven’t really thought about it in this way before! 🙏🏻

Great vid Randall!! FYI...if you preamp your mic...crank the levels to +1 .....audio is way too low. if you don't use a preamp..you need one...your levels are clean but way too low....as a former engineer with several Toronto radio stations.....i know levels))).....the sound from the SM7 is nice and clear..often a bit dark but absolutely clear.....just needs a boost. Hope you weren't swimming on the DVP yesterday....next thing you traffic cops will have to have is scuba gear in the trunk....gotta love Toronto))))All the best bud!!

2:41 yes they have nothing to back it up that is why I write a lot about how the post accelerationist broadcasting economy of which you are a very successful talented part of really is a boost to networked global science because as you know fields for work are also really neurodiverse meaning everyone will become some version of a cop in order to utilize skills in a cooperative environment that only competes after skills are assessed (to treat & cure all the diseases we are born with *& competing in who is best at that)
Who is the best at helping those with non machiavellian brain structures sell their wares etc..
"leaders" are stuck in the old accelerationist economy that assassinates the competition & then has no idea what to do with what they plagiarized for obvious reasons no one wil ever have to explain to you because you re in the middle of explaining it here at 2:41+

Here's a video for you to make. When you are called to be the governments' henchman and oppress the general public, what will you do? And would most cops do the same? Or do they even care? Would you enforce any law they pass no matter how ridiculously unjust and be their cowardly henchman? For decades now, I have watched what most police do around the world. As far as I have seen in my lifetime, it doesn't matter where it is in the world, when police are instructed to be the governments' henchmen, they do it and it is extremely rare to find a cop doing otherwise. In such a circumstance, most cops will not choose to defend and protect their fellow citizens because they are too cowardly to stand against an oppressive government who signs their paychecks. The world seems to be without honorable men. You seem like a reasonable man. So what do you say?

@@OfficerArsenault It's already happening Randall. It also creates an awful dilemma for police. I wouldn't want to be a cop who is put in that predicament by the government. It's bad for the officer and bad for the people. Citizens should not bow down to blatant injustice simply because the government sends out men dressed up in a uniform and a badge. But the proof is in the pudding. It's already happening.
