I've struggled getting my garmin settings right. You're the 3rd person I've seen this week with lowrance, im thinking this might be a sign! I have humminbirds on the boat for DI and SI helix 10 gen 1 so they're about due for an upgrade too
The garmin has plenty of pros. The lowrance has a narrower beam that can see fish and lures better at longer distances. However the garmin has a wider beam and shows a better return of the bottom. Most likely it's your settings. Are you ever around the harris chain? I can help you get tha garmin right, I use the garmin all the time and it's a great unit.
@@GinoLosi yes sir, I fish the chain a few times a week. Mainly Griffin since it's closest to me in Belleview but I venture over to Harris and Eustis on occasion.

I've seen the videos between 1 and 2. I'm doing a complete electronics redo. Including. Trolling motor. 3 lithium batteries, 2 graphs, amd transducers. Is it worth it to 2 go ahead and purchase the 2?
Yes. I just added it, I'm currently running 2 in scout and 1 in forward facing, it's insane! If we are friends on FB I can send you a video in shallow water of active 2 over 1.

How do you record then playback. I have a HDSLive and it creates a MP4 file that is saved to the card but the sonar playback won't recognize. Thanks!
