Yes we definitely had major sound problems in this video unfortunately. The unboxing of the 5G version in the middle should sound much better :) GOOD NEWS is that CC are enabled. All my videos have correct subtitling. I'm glad you like the white colour.
It's been as good as any other phone. I'll be testing the 5G shortly, a Carrier Three just launched their 5G Network and they offer it on Pre-paid so I'll be testing that for the review. :)
Please, compare the battery quality of both versions during standard activity (internet, email, gallery, youtube, games etc.. I wonder is there any difference between these CPUs.
From my time with the 4G and now using the 5G I did not notice any difference in both battery quality or performance. The 120Hz screen works great on both HOWEVER I didn't really push the S20 FE to it's limits, just taking pictures and short videos, playing Among Us and then Internet use and phone calls. Stay tuned for further testing as I'll do further research but as my daily driver phone, so far so good!
@@ImLeeLoi between standard s20 Europe and USA versions there is ~10%/1h diffrence. Please leave telephones for whole night in iddle and check at morning. I am going to buy s20 fe but before i need to choose version 4g or 5g. I don't matter about Network, but battery performance is something important.
@@eBizoPL Yeah let me work on it! The video dropping this Friday will be an in-depth Camera test on the S20FE, I'mma shoot an actual short film using it so I'll be checking the battery on it over that period.
@@ImLeeLoi still waiting :) make some identical photos (i read about the difference because of photo processing by CPU) and compare the quality of them and simultaneously battery drain, please.
@@eBizoPL I dropped an in-depth camera test video on Friday. My review wont be dropping this week but next week as I still need to spend more time with the phone and I'll be covering Apple today.
Hey AaronKimTV, I started using it yesterday as my daily driver and so far so good but do stay tuned for further coverage and I will look into this as I know going in buying a white phone seems risky! This 5G phone is just Sub-6 I believe as I bought it Unlocked. From what I understand you have to buy the MMWAVE from a Carrier that has that technology and here in Ireland that technology is not enabled. Vodafone is using Sub-6. I read that Verizon in the USA for example can sell you a special "Galaxy S20 FE 5G UW" edition that's MMWAVE. :)
I'm not aware of any heating issues and the short time I used the 4G model it did not overheat although I'm not an "intense" smartphone user. It didn't heat up taking photographs or videos or playing Among US.
Fantastic question as I'm aware of the reports; so I kept the screen protector on and I was wondering if that was the root cause of why I wasn't entirely satisfied with the finger print sensor BUT more importantly I did encounter some "jitters" when scrolling like described but I initially thought this was just part of using Android. It didn't bother me that much and it didn't really interrupt me using the Smartphone for the month but it certainly was present on my device.
From my testing nothing beyond the 5G capability but the 4G model in Europe does have an Exynos chip where as the 5G uses a Snap dragon but from my limited testing with the 4G I did not see any battery or performance differences. The Exynos is up to the task of the 120Hz screen.
No question get the S20 FE! In Ireland they are both around the same price and you get SOO much more with the S20 FE. Haha you don't even need to wait for my review to hear this but the 120HZ screen on this is killer. I think it's really important when you spend money you feel like you get your money's worth. The screen on this and the fact that at least the frame on it is aluminium gives it a more premium feel. That said today I'm transferring my data to the S20 FE to use as my daily driver so stay tuned for my coverage over the next few weeks as I do a deep dive. My upcoming video will be an in-depth camera test on the S20 FE.
Yep! Please see 5:04. We go from the Original video -> Update 5G unboxing -> Original Video as my first impressions were going to be the same regardless. They visually look and perform identical from my initial testing and the City view is much more beautiful than my room. :)
There are two microphone holes, below the screen to the left of the USB C charger and the top of the phone beside the Sim card. There is no headphone jack, only USB C
It's about as thick and may be even a hair thinner than my iPhone XS Max. It's comfortable to hold however I suppose it depends if you decide to put a case on your phone about how that would bulk it up.
Hey everyone! Remember if you have any questions about the S20 FE that would help you make a buying decision leave a comment! ✌️
Nice to see you unboxing a white color, everyone doing a blue!! The voice quality can be better..

Was hoping for a 4G Vs 5G comparison. Nice video, but suggest thinking about mic options as the echo made the commentary hard to hear
Check my review video for 4G vs 5G; yeah I had mic issues that day
Awesome video, I am considering jumping to 5G with Metro PCS or Boost Mobile... How is the connection speed since you got the phone?

Thank you for the video very informative
Thanks for the support 🙏
Only talking about cameras performances there's any difference between 4g and 5g? It's not available with snapdragon in Argentina 😭
Nope if you watched my review I discuss the differences but nah there really isn’t much. Enjoy the 4G
Does the white model get dirty easily if used without case? And does the 5g version both supports Sub-6 and mmwave just like the S20+? Thanks

bad sound quality
Yeah my proper mic had issues during recording but I couldn’t scrap the video; the 5G phone unboxing section is better though :)
