It's like this song has a very deep truth it wishes to communicate, but there simply aren't words to articulate it. I find it very therapeutic when I'm in certain moods, like Flik's. I can't remember if this was specifically his theme or not, but that's what it feels like to me.
If I remember flick is from warriors village proves it,in the sense the name of his sword when smithereens is his lost love, and because she passed he could never complete his trial, though in instance when helping hix, him, like he looking at his youthful self, sorta like a big bro, though in retrospect I can see how thos can fit flick as a person
Alright, let me tell you what this version of the song does for me. Wearing earphones, every notion that there are instruments playing this is gone, and it feels like the universe itself/God himself was making that music input directly into my brain for a heavenly and otherworldly feel.
I'd say 2 hits pretty close but you're right. Ever heard the remixes in the Suikodengaiden ps1 games? That version of Gothic Neclord alone is ridiculously good.
@@joolsstoo3085haha those were great, there’s a bunch of those albums. And I remember always thinking the neclord remix was amazing. If any of you like suikoden music, suikoden 5 had a great ost too; and was an awesome suikoden in general! Also, suikoden tierkreis for the DS was a pretty fun suikoden. It was the last real suikoden, and there’s some elements that are different, but all in all it’s pretty true for the most part. And the game is different in a cool way, very unique. The soundtrack for that one is great, and there’s some new versions of familiar classics like the war room song. That version of the war room song isn’t my favourite. On a different note, are you guys excited to play eiyuden chronicle hundred heroes!? I can’t wait! It should be a great “suikoden”, it basically will be a new suikoden game, I just hope the ost can even come close to this level. If it does, then that would be outstanding.

Reminds me of my late mother
Probably the only game I've ever stopped in a fairly useless area to just listen to the music.
❤❤
wonderful music! thank you so much for uploading this!
Been searching for this song since I heard it in 1996 on PS1... Has haunted me for over 20 years, I could never recall it.

In terms of music, Suiko 1 outperforms all the others. So organic.

This was Joshua's song the dragon knight. Joshua was a cool character but you never get to use him directly.
Futch was too
