When Antoine cantin posted his video about the triple track I personally didn’t think it would be that good for my desires for a 4x4. But the double track or whatever sounds like such a good cube.
The magnets of the triple track version are technically not extra magnets, they put magnet from the inner edges to the outers like in a 5x5. The system is good theoretically, but the small radius of the magnets makes them feel kinda weak and to get an adequate tactile feel, they end up being too strong. If you like strong magnets and don't like the repulsion bump of most 4x4s and 2x2s, it's good, but I think that they could've executed that idea in a better way as I have a Gts2 with similar magnets on the edges and it's possible to make them smoother and faster without losing stability.
Never really liked Vin and MGC because of the size, so from 2019 until now I've been calling the WRM the best 4x4 while switching between 2 mains (which increased to 3 near the Vin's release timing when the Qiyi M pro came out). Qiyi M pro is 58.5mm good for the size but I have to mod it with ball core and spring compression, Meilong is good for the stability, Aosu WRM is good overall. Aosu v7 seems to overtake the reasons to use all 3 of these cubes. Hoping to get the triple track so I can clearly explain what the magnet layout really means.
@@ClockSolver I think it affects blind-solving more than sighted solving, because of how slice-move heavy blind methods are. When you do a double-move like Rw or Uw, it is technically is no different from doing R or U in terms of core-magnet resistance, which is against 4 corners. But of course the weight of the middle layer may give some assymetry. When you do slice moves however, lets say the core is alligned to the left side. Doing a 2R would move all the second layer pieces without the corners, causing you to push through the piece magnets only, but no core magnets. Doing a 2L however, would move the core with it, causing you to push through the entire weight of the core, plus its magnetic attraction to all 8 corners, giving very high levels of asymmetry to the feel. Also, you can create a theoretical 5th version of the Aosu v7 by swapping the wings & midges between the triple track and single track versions, and you will end up with two double track Aosu v7s, one of which is the normal ballcore+piece magnets one that you can buy, and the other will have piece magnets + wing magnets without the ball core. The wing magnets will not face the assymetry problem that the ball core faces, when you do the slice moves. And on a personal level, I use Uw2 Rw2 U2 2R2 U2 Rw2 Uw2 as my PLL parity alg, and not 2R2 U2 2R2 Uw2 2R2 Uw2, which makes me even less affected by the slice move problem than most people.

Hello I saw your video about solving the Rubik's cube a while back and decided to practice some more. It was very in debt and helped me solve a lot of times. Still need help though. What happens when you only need to twist one corner into place. Every time I try the method I end up having to resolve it again. Can you help with this please?
I’ve been using the 56mm zhisu mini 4x4 for quite a long time cuz everything else just feels huge and this might finally be the upgrade. Im still perfectly happy with the yj mini but I’m gonna get this for sure
can you guys make a vid on the new vin cube with core mags? i was thinking of buying both this and the v7 and was just wondering the difference before I buy it
This is not a review, just an opinion from a nonexpert. I have the standard versions of the AoSu v7 4x4 and the AuChuang v6 5x5, and I think the the AuChuang is much better than the AoSu. The inner magnets of the AuSu are quite strong, making slice moves difficult and the cube blocky. All layers of the AuChuang are similar, and all turn quite freely.
I tried to save money and bought the cheapest, single-track, version, and now regret ny decision. The outer layers are great, but the magnets between the two inner layers are way too strong, making turns that separate these two layers too hard to start and making the cube feel super blocky. I hope the dual-track version is better.
I have both the single-track V7 and the Vin. I agree that the inner magnets are slightly too strong, however with a faster lube setup and loosening the cube a little, it is clearly better than the standard Vin also due to it's size imo. The outer layers are faster but also more controllable. Double-track will still be better of course.

but wouldn't the core magnets not work half the time due to the cube's mech?
The core magnets are a good enough strength that no, it would not be inconsistent
