Think of a muonium like Chopper. Normal hydrogen is just a deer, but add a rumble ball and a devil fruit and you get Chopper (muonium is irradiated hydrogen that has an anti-muon and an electron as its nucleus/center).

Explain Muonium in one piece terms? Okay I'll give it a shot.
Picture Kizaru (a proton) surrounded by a bunch of regular marines (electrons), and Luffy (a muon, which is an elementary particle similar to electrons but has a much greater mass) is attempting to sneak up on Kizaru by disguising himself as one of those regular marines.
Luffy beats up one of the marines, steals his clothes, and attempts to join the crowd. (replacing an electron and becoming an antimuon) But as it turns out his stolen outfit was from a vice admiral or something, and now he has a marine behind him asking for orders. (an electron has joined the antimuons sphere of influence, which technically makes the antimuon its own atom, and that is what we refer to as Muonium)
This whole bit is of course immediately discovered because luffy beat up that vice admiral in front of the whole crowd, so now luffy and the marine that was following him immediately run in seperate directions (muonium decays in 2.2 microseconds.)
So yeah, muonium is just that brief moment where a muon is technically an atom become it has its own electron orbiting it. What any of that has to do with the one piece story is beyond me, but hey it was a fun writing prompt.
Maybe when the truth is revealed the world nobles will leave Imu?
Maybe the creation and sudden dissipation of large quantities of muonium generates a lot of energy?
Hey thanks once he asked for it I had to find out if someone did it and I also have to thank you for an education I didn't think I'd learn much but putting it in one piece terms has allowed me to absorb knowledge that would have just never sunk in if I was just reading it out of a textbook

The real question is who did Vegapunk call in chapter 1071. When the manga was being discussed people thought it was Stussy, or Loki of Elbaf, or The "real" Kuma. But from the anime, we know that the voice was a woman's so it can't be the other two, but Stussy was with Lucci and Kaku at the time so it's not her. Also, after the call, Vegapunk said "They are going to help us". "They" meaning many people. I think it's Koala from the Revolutionary Army.

Fun fact: Blackbeard's early design had an eye patch from his right eye, Luffy's possible new design has it from left eye. Imu cut the posters of Blackbeard's and Luffy's exactly from same parts, Imu cuts Blackbeard's right eye, and Luffy's left eye on the poster.
Luffy and blackbeard will both get eyepatches revealed at the same time and clash over getting the same look
This sounds like some Naruto VS Sasuke Round 2 Injuries.
That of course means they'll be fusing into a single double eye-patched giga pirate to fight Imu

Related to BB and Luffy: I love how BB takes the most damage by default with his fruit and how Luffy takes nearly no damage with his fruit. It's also interesting how Luffy was seen to have a paramecia but it was a mythical zoan and Blackbeard has a weird logia that people are theorizing might really be a mythical zoan.

@@Sarahm2261 well i would say there are many version of the story were indra struck hanum before he could eat it. And one where he ate it and then indra struck him and it was inside his throat or somewhere so he just threw it back up.
False he didn't eat it he comes close and grow bigger than the sun, but Indra (the king of Heavens and the Demi Gods) through his weapon Vajra which hit his jaw (In Sanskrit Hanu means Jaw) so he is called Hanuman since then. He fell unconscious but Wind God his Godfather withdrew air from all the worlds results in beings getting killed, this made all the Gods to assemble and blessed Hanuman with insane powers.

To tie into this theory
My theory is Luffy will develop 3 forms of the Sungod Nika that coincide with the phases of the Sun, his first form is the dawn phase as he has just awoken, he will gain a midday form and a sunset/dusk form. And these will be a special version of the 3 versions Zoans typically gain. The Gorosei referred to Luffy as being in his "white form" white being his current hair and his moves are named similar aka 'Gomu Gomu no Dōn Wippu' or white whip but in the english translation it's Gomu Gomu no DAWN whip. I think each version will have a different hair colour as foreshadowed by his red hair in the chapter 1091 and the names of these will be some clever play on words.
As for the colours they are will be based on classical colour representation in Japan
White is a colour long associated with deities in Japan
Red is a Colour often used when representing the Sun as per the Japanese flag.
And another colour representing the Sun in Japan is gold.
So his Dawn, Noon and Dusk forms will be white haired, red haired and golden haired. I'm guessing dawn is white, dusk is red and noon will be golden as that is when the sun is at its highest and strongest.
Edit. It has been pointed out that the translations on the wiki may be incorrect and it is probably simply just dawn whip not white whip in the original text.
The wiki states it as ゴムゴムの白いドーン鞭ウィップ or gum gum white dawn whip and has it directly translated as just white whip and this is potentially incorrect. However I still think there will be white dawn followed by red dusk and gold noon at a later date. Thankyou for the corrections to my mistakes from the sources I was using.
The color change is doubtful and entirely unnecessary … Nika is literally known as “the white warrior” … And the white is obviously meant to go up with the black of Blackbeards DF. So no, there will be no color changes.
@@GourSmith the fact that the Gorosei stated he is in his white form implies he has other colours. And his hair turned red when he was angry that the food was a hologram. You might be correct but I doubt gear 5 is his final form change with how long is left in the Manga and as a Zoan theoretically he has 3 other forms to appear as of yet and the colour changes might have been implied. Who knows.

I didn’t say he doesn’t have more than one form in gear 5 … I’m saying it’s quite literally the most limitless form imaginable. The gorosei didn’t say “Nika is in his white form” … They said “he” meaning luffy. He’s “the white warrior” for a reason.

I think the idea of Shanks not letting anyone with a df on his crew because he knows about the flooding is kind of weird tbh. I mean what would the plan be...? Swimming through the world? I think everyone could still use ships and there are still places one can actually live on. I think thats a very weird theory that people spread way too comfortably. Especially since we do not have a confirmation of devil fruits being abscent in his crew...

The only character in Roger's crew with a devil fruit was unable to go to Laugh Tale, so it's possible that Shanks wanted his entire crew to be able to get there.
Is it really? I don't think the idea Shanks has is that his crew would have to swim because of the flood, but maybe because of what happened during the flood. It was said a lot of people "disappeared" during that time. If Imu was behind it all, it is plausible that the flood, aka void century, occurs is Imu's attempt to reset all other devil fruits, so none get powerful enough to stop him. He could use that time to capture or otherwise take care of all the other devil fruit users.
If that is the case, by Shanks having a crew of all none devil fruit users, or at least primarily non devil fruit users, he could ensure his crew is the most powerful crew post flood, since all the devil fruits have been reset. It also helps him gauge exactly how powerful his crew is at all times and allows them to grow much stronger through facing opponents that have a clear advantage of special powers. It is a risk, but one with a very big pay off.
Of course it is just a theory, but logically, it makes sense. Of course, anime doesn't always make sense, so it could be completely wrong too. For all we know, Shanks could be working with Imu to collect all the devil fruits and keep them locked up somewhere so no one can use them, or he might have some kind of grudge against the devil fruits because of some kind of tragic event in his past. Who knows?
To add to this I’d imagine learning how to live on something that floats in water would be good enough lol.

To start some physics that will help explain:
Muon = heavy electron,
antimuon = heavy electron with a positive charge, hence ‘anti’
Muonium = electron (-ve particle) + antimuon (+ve heavier particle)
This creates a rare exotic type of atom with increadibly high energy which is extremely unstable (similar to the mother flame)
The motherflame appears a relatively sizeable object, meaning it would be composed of trillions of these Muonium atoms (i.e. very unstable, very big boom if not contained properly)
Hope this makes some sense 😂🙌❤️
Muonium is like the void century, when science finally understands everything about it, we will be able to learn about our alternate selves in the quantum space of reality thus finding the one piece.

Immediately hearing the comparison of the Mother flame to Nuclear energy makes sense. The amount of energy produced to destroy an island, or the energy to level whole areas. But whats even funnier is if you google calories for Uranium (powers nuclear reactors) 1g releases 20billion calories of energy. Which Lets compare that to the Mother Flame. If Luffy eats it he would have near unlimited energy and probably never feel exhausted from using his devil fruit. But to add on to that theory. Franky/surviving Vegapunks will work on harnessing that energy to work on stuff or figure out the giant robot
not gonna happen. the mother flame was a failure. Vegapunk even admitted that he failed to recreate the power source of the ancient kingdom. Luffy is the ancient power source, which is how the giant robot powered up from being near him. Luffy will learn that he can get infinite energy for gear five directly from the sun.
I don't know why everyone is getting so hung up on the mother flame when vegapunk admitted it was a failure. With the motherflame now we know why oda modelled VP after einstein. Einstein thought his theory of relativity was a great triumph until it was used to make nuclear bombs and vp has realized that all his quest for the ancient power supply has done is give the gorosei the power to destroy the world. But all these youtube theorists completely miss that point and think the mother flame is some great new technology for luffy.

Except eye patches aren't really about injury. They preserve low light dilation so you can swap it to the other eye and see when you go below deck. When lights are flame you don't want many on a wooden boat. Especially helped with the hold.

Im not convinced luffys gonna eat the mother flame. A new form already would be kind of crazy and nika has always been described with how luffy looks now. Even the vegapunk recognizes the appearance as the white warrior.

Ok hear me out I have a crazy theory about the mother flame. So we always referred to Luffy and joy being related to the sun, and the mother flame has incredible amount of energy something like the sun. so what if the mother flame is the same as that. What if Vegapunk some how replicate the essence of joy boy or some kind of power like nika’s. Vega punk has already been able to clone people and spliced DNA so maybe he was given some sort of DNA of joyboy or something to use to make a new power source to run the ancient weapons. And honestly it seems like something emu would do, she makes the power of the same person who would free everyone, be the power she uses to control and dominate everyone.
I think this motherflame theory could really support either blackbeard or imu being a moon god. The sun fighting back the moon, dawn rocket will have a whole new meaning. But could the motherflame be Vegapunks closest thing to unlimited energy, like cold fusion in the real world? Interested what steroid type effect it might have on gear 5

I have a background in chemistry so I can try to help explain the Atomu thing and why it’s probably wrong
Most people know the atom is made of a nucleus of protons (positively charged) and neutrons (no charge) with smaller electrons (negative charge) flying around the outside. But here’s the interesting part, what keeps all those positively charged protons mashed together in the nucleus. Positive charges should repel each other. Turns out there’s this force called the strong nuclear force that explains this phenomenon.
Nuclear fission is harnessing that force as kinetic energy we can use to create electrical energy. Basically using radiation to fire a small particle at a big atom, splitting it into smaller atoms and capturing that force in the process. This is what we do in nuclear reactors.
However, if Oda wants to be scientifically accurate, this is not what should occur in the Mother Flame. The mother flame is based on the sun’s energy which is nuclear fusion. This occurs in stars. Basically the sun and other stars burn hot enough that they can fuse smaller atoms together into bigger atoms, and the strong nuclear force energy is released here as well but actually in a much larger quantity. This energy continues to fuel the star’s heat over billions of years. We have not figured out how to replicate this on earth mainly because of the incredible temperatures required to do it. This is more likely what the Mother Flame in One Piece is.

I'm gonna pretend i understood the chemistry stuff 😅 but the mother flame might just be a reference to the primordial fire that prometheus stole from helios i don't think there will be that much scientific explanation behind it but then again it's a vp invention so who knows ?

I understand that my theory has a next to nill chance of happening, but I'd love it if the mother flame is fed by death and once it grows enough becomes amaterasu. A & (to) Mu is not only atom, it is also A (beginning) to Mu (nothingness/end). It denotes that all life begins and ends with the motherflame, in the same way that atoms are the origin of life on Earth.
In other words, this is not only a VegaPunk project to create a nuclear-style weapon, it is also a way to harness the essence of life (and death) itself. This clearly ties into not only the void century, but also the origins of life in the One Piece as a whole, since we're referencing gods and all. We don't really have any information on the origin of these gods the same way we do say Zeus or Hades (they came from titans, and titans from primordial entities like Erebus).
It's likely that the mother flame is the essence of a primordial entity who we know nothing about, and we'll learn about at the end. IMU will probably be some part of that primordial entity (e.g. A&Mu: Kami and Demon King Piccolo / (or much less comparative but likely more influential on Oda) Kaguya, chakra and the Infinite Tsukuyomi) and the separation of the primordial entity created IMU, the mother flame, and devil fruit.
But this is just speculation, what do I know?
Muonium is kind of similar to a mythical zoan type devil fruit.
First, you can think of hydrogen as a regular zoan type devil fruit; like the hito hito no mi chopper ate, for example. It consists of a positively charged proton, and a negatively charged electron.
Muonium is an exotic atom consisting of an antimuon and an electron. Antimuons are positively charged, so the antimuon acts like a substitute for a proton. This makes muonium somewhat like a special version of hydrogen, but much rarer and with properties that allow scientists to study fundamental physics.
So muonium is like a different, much rarer model of the already existent zoan devil fruit hydrogen, kind of like what the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika is to the regular Hito Hito no Mi.
Blackbeard will be double worried than every other devil fruit users in the world after hearing about the world sinking news from Vegapunk😂😂😂

I read that historically the use of an eyepatch was not about eye insury but about having one eye that is used to darkness, so when they enter the inside of a ship they can but away the eyepatch and see better there resulting in more safety.

There is already a character who is kinda wearing an eyepatch: Zorro. Luffy and Zoro are contrast characters: Luffy is light, Zoro is darkness, Luffy's main color is red, Zorro's main color is green.
Zorro's "eyepatch" is his scarred left eye. The point of an eyepatch, which were used by all sailors in wooden sailing ship, was to keep an eye in darkness so when the sailor had to go back and forth on the deck and back in cabin, the sailor could simply remove the eyepatch when in cabin and he would have one eye already used to darkness. Wooden sailing ship cabins were very dark, even during the day, because of limited ligthing sources like candles and lanterns don't give out much light, almost no windows or skylight because the cargo and gunpowder need to be kept dry and no flammes were allowed near gunpowder magazines.
Still, Zorro being in darkness goes well with all he's done up to this point. Most of his attacks are about demons. His swords are cursed. Enma is litterally a sword of darkness that drains his lifeforce when he uses it. Zorro is also the most pirate looking pirate: he has the boots, the pants, the shirt, the sash, the earrings and the bandana. It is my opinion that Zorro has been wearing an eyepatch since the timeskip.
The way the flame looks suspended in the giant vat immediately reminded me of cold fusion, which would be a perfect energy source. I think that ties into the development of the atomic bomb you spoke about while still being more sci-fi based and more optimistic than the immediate result of having developed fission irl.
Something that I only just realized; Maybe Imu *wants* the water level to raise, in addition to wiping out countries that disobey the world government, it also works to help cull devil fruit users.

Imagine if a character consumed a special Devil Fruit that dramatically altered their physical properties for a very short time before reverting back. Similarly, muonium is an exotic atom that exists briefly due to the muon's short lifespan before it decays, offering a fleeting glimpse into some special physical properties and behaviors that aren't observed in more stable, conventional atoms
