- On the eve of Israel’s Independence Day, the most prominent feature of its own statehood as well as of the entire Middle East is the inter-dependence of all regional entities, both among local partners and with global powers.
Two main groups have emerged, based on common interests and rivalries. The first group is comprised of a US-led moderate camp, which includes Israel and the Sunni Arab states, and the other group is a more diverse camp which includes Russia, China, Iran, Hezbollah, Syria, the Houthis and Hamas - with some actors, such as Iraq and Turkey, squeezed between and moving in and out of them. Are these permanent alliances, or just temporary products of expediency? Joining us to dissect this dynamic situation:

When an alliance comes into existence out of negative motivations like wanting to strengthen themselves even at the cost of allies, that alliance will not last long. It will collapse as soon as the interests are beyond the strength of the alliance. The so called friends will distrust each other very soon and can even become best enemies..

I would like to add that because the people of the US and Israel have certainly moral principles as a society . other countries don't have to worry about getting nuked by us without significant cause . In such an event even an individual in one of our countries might refuse an order unless there was a significant reason for going through with the launch.
It's like that Russian in a sub out in the Atlantic during the Cuban crisis with the US that said no to the launch of a nuke onto the US . This is a person whose name should be a history book but lost to time .
Iran is different and even a individual
for in their eyes may launch a nuke and all will regret.

From what I herd in the 1973 war Israel
was running out of ammunition. Israel threatened to set off a nuke in the Sini Desert if Nixon did not resupply them . They got the weapons and was part of the reason Egypt made peace because no beating them . This show threw down the gauntlet of geographical distance from the primary existential threat to Democracy and more specifically the existential threat spoken without reservation “From the river to the sea.”; a call coming from the central surrounding enemies of Israel, and also this threat clearly extends to the US. The only country left out of the deeper and more dangerous strategic moves by Turkey complete this multi-dimensional assault and confusion creating the coalition of States eaten up with a level of prejudice toward an entire culture, also the daily vocalized direct death threat to the US and Israel. “Not to be concerned about it” illusion by one of your guests that presumed the Western Alliance has even cultural solidarity. Really? So Turkey, a member of NATO has cultural identity with the rest of the NATO Nations?; which if so admits this prejudice and hatred must be the leading spokesperson for a Western Alliance which demonstrates on Ivy League college campuses, no doubt by, in part, the droves of illegal immigration.
