  • Hello Friends,
How are you? and welcome to my new video. In this video i have explained about "Types of Lunar Eclipse" .
A lunar eclipse is an astronomical event that occurs when the Moon moves into the Earth's shadow, causing the Moon to be darkened. Such an alignment occurs during an eclipse season, approximately every six months, during the full moon phase, when the Moon's orbital plane is closest to the plane of the Earth's orbit. There are mainly 3 types of lunar Eclipse
    Penumbral Lunar Eclipse
    Partial Lunar Eclipse
    Total Lunar Eclipse
A penumbral lunar eclipse takes place when the Moon moves through the faint, outer part of Earth's shadow, the penumbra. This type of eclipse is not as dramatic as other types of lunar eclipses and is often mistaken for a regular Full Moon
A portion of the Moon enters Earth's umbral shadow, causing a noticeable darkening on one side. It's a captivating event but falls short of the breathtaking spectacle of a total lunar eclipse.
A total lunar eclipse happens when the Earth comes between the Sun and the Moon, casting its shadow on the Moon's surface. This occurs during a full moon, and the Moon can take on a reddish tint due to Earth's atmosphere scattering sunlight. it is often called as a blood moon.
I hope you find the video very informative. Thanks for watching my video.
