As a boy of 9 I walked past the camp organist as she played this and filed into the prayer room and got so full of the Spirit I began to weep and speak in tongues. My homelife was hell and this song--along with others like it--secured my fragile broken soul in His embrace. I think of that daily...even in my mid 60's of life. The Holy Spiritt anointed this song for me and I play it often when life gets rough.
Three days back I was in pain and sorry wondering how I can come out of this darkness and my heart started crying show me the way out please. I had him say, say to me search for the song I don't why Jesus loved me, I went to search for it and I found one that EV. Jimmy Swargart sang , I listened and the song through it all came , I started feeling the presence of God and my heart was comforted and freed. , from that time I started listening. Jimmy Swargart is a true worshiper, thank God for this beautiful soul, I don't care about his passed, out of it a great worshiper came because he knows the true mercy of God so he sings it from his true heart which is transferred to those listening and searching for truth. Love you. Xx

I would like the copyright for Fill My Cup Lord. Ivan C. Parker and I co-wrote Fill My Cup Lord on June 10, 1970 which was Pentecost Sunday that year. Every year the Scripture reading in the Lectionary is about the woman at the well of Samaria. Ivan and I wrote Fill My Cup Lord after returning home from Sunday Mass that day. Fill My Cup Lord was written in Flemish and his grandmother, Marie Catenzero helped us translate that song into English. At this time in 1970 I was a foster sister in the home of Ivan Castanza's family in Kansas City.
