Made the cat, put buttons for eyes I purchased at Joann's years ago that are black with like sparkly gold dust in center. Embroidered whiskers, mouth and nose. Totally enjoyed doing this and took about an hour to do hand stitching but best hour have spent in a long time. Plus I really liked that you did not talk all the way through. Great job teaching! Thank you!!!
i'm not making this for halloween but definitely going to use this pattern to make a pet kitty pillow as a gift for a friend. this is the perfect design for me. thank you so much
This series is so cute, the set design, the music and adorable Kimberly wearing a black plaid shirt all match the theme. I am especially happy to see you make a 1 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inch flying geese. I recently purchased Summer Memories, one of the patterns calls for 20 of them. I am intimidated by the small size of the flying geese and want to have an accurate block! Thank you.
I am using scraps from my Halloween fabric. They are mostly a bunny hill Halloween collection from 5 years ago. The background is stats white on white. It was very hard to resist the kit but I knew I Had enough scraps so all 3 of my fqs halloween quilts go together.
So cute! I thought this would be an actual quilt. Are there instructions to make it bigger? I'm not seeing it. I would love a big quilt! But this is very cute!
Hello Melinda! The blocks will make up the quilt. We are releasing the patterns weekly. If you want to make it larger you could add more of each block and add borders.
@FatQuarterShopTX ok great! Thanks! This is the first time I have seen this and I have followed you for years! Idk how I missed it! Now I'm watching all the videos from last yrs Halloween series'! P.s. where did you get..or make? The design boards?! Great idea! So cute! And.. would there be a master pattern so I can buy all of the fabric at once? Ot only quilt along I will find out? Thanks again!
Hello Melinda! We have a video here that shows how to make a design board ruclips.net/video/1nSZtoionpA/видео.html You can also purchase them here bit.ly/3pgEjyF You can download the fabric requirements for this quilt here www.fatquartershop.com/haunted-halloween-mystery-quilt-along-fabric-requirements-free-pdf-pattern
I am wondering if you can help me? Was watching the video and I thought I would buy the spray starch that the woman in one of your videos used and showed us how to starch our pieces. Well, I did as she did saturate the pieces left them dry, and ironed them the problem is all my cut pieces shrunk, I had to recut a lot of background pieces again this time I cut a piece of fabric big enough then I spray starched them and then after they dried cut them and ironed them this seem to work much better. Is that what I should have been doing all along?

Hello Doreen! We recommend starching before you cut your fabric. If that's took much you can cut larger and then starch.
@@FatQuarterShopTX Thank you sew much.
