Looking at how thin she is and how low her nipples are and how dry... (Also how it seems like the place she was hiding was a nest.) That she lost her puppies tragically through her not being able to take care of them. :( Either way it's a huge tragedy.
She sounded and looked aggressive because she was so, so scared and painfull. She probably never had a loving hand touching her. Looking at her it seems she was used to breed puppies and when she couldnt do it, she was just asbandoned to die alone. But you guys saved her. Thank you. Jenna Werner They are so kind to animals. This angel was scared out of her mind and this is how she learned to defend herself. She wasn’t trying to hurt anyone, she was trying to save herself and Eldad understood that. Kindness is how we communicate with animals, and at the end of the video she got to see that. She reciprocated that gentleness, and that is the greatest thing in the world. Hope for Paws is the first to show that kindness.
When I saw her leg my heart broke. I can’t imagine in how much pain she was. Not only physically but also mentally. I’m so glad she is good now and happy. Edit: wow, so many likes... It's good to see more people share this opinion.
I believe I seen these rescues more than once but every time I see the dogs in safe hands I cry again , a funny moment I laugh again, a bubble bath I smile again. Great job to your organization Eldad.

He could've done it better. When I rescue dogs we have better equipment, it comes across more aggressive, but manhandling the dog does reduce stress and doesn;'t let them get away.

I adopted one of those poor souls. Her name is Maizie Grace. I have mobility issues and now she is my service dog. She's wonderful!
The poor dog would have been in so much pain, running a fever, dehydrated and starving. Understandable why she was so aggressive at the rescue. Eldad rightly could not give up on her. What a wonderful outcome and no way hindered by a missing leg. God Bless Eldad and HfP.
My niece completely changed my mind about pitbulls. She has 3 and I have learned that they are just love sponges! I also want to note that a neighbor of mine growing up had a collie that would attack anything in sight, so you can't judge the dog by the breed!

If you look on Google, it will give you that information. Now I don’t have a clue who gave you that 800 death figure, but it’s grossly exaggerated. During a 12-year period (2005 to 2016) 392 Americans were killed by dog attacks. Almost 65% of those deaths came from Pit bulls (254 deaths or a little over 20 per year on average). No breed comes close to that figure. In second place was the Rottweiler at 43 deaths (11%). One can certainly understand why Pit bulls have that reputation. They are very powerful dogs. But if people would understand that many people seek Pit bulls as guard dogs (which they are very good at) and not pets. Obviously, abusing animals can indeed make them dangerous. By using them as mostly guard dogs is another form of abuse, and because of that training they can become a lot more dangerous. I suspect that the deaths caused by Pit bulls raised in a good, loving home is small, but it certainly has and does occurred.
I hate when people give your videos thumbs down because they don’t know how much time you guys take to save these animals and money you waste to fly to the other places and drive but I always give you guys a thumbs up:)😊

I'd say you've not seen many HfP videos, so please watch as many as you can and you'll see how Eldad and the team are skilled, know their animal psychology and put the animals in minimal distress. I've watched the Hope for Paws videos a long time and he does have an "impatient" undertone, borderline pissy, in his rescues, not exhibit a truly gentle, loving presence. People in the rescue world have their own "attitude" issues, just saying.
This is the hardest dog rescue and with a terrible broken leg. This dog was a difficult and exhausting try to bring her to safety and help. What a wonderful ending to a story. Good show and God Bless all of you. Hooah!

My dad and I were walking on the street to get some bagels for brunch and then I noticed a dog that was average sized on the street and it was just laying there breathing heavily. I didn't notice it at first but I saw my dad staring at it for quite some time. I was like, dad what's wrong and he just pointed at the little guy, and it was pretty busy in the street but I could hear it's breathing heavily. I was around 9 at that time so I was scared if he'd do something but he didn't. My dad picked him up and the little guy started crying and people were looking at us, it was so hard but a friend of ours that worked in a small diner helped us out so we got him to a vet. Turned out he (it was a boy btw) was a Chinese lion dog (he was a chow chow pup back then) and had diaphragmatic hernia, so the vet assumed that he was hit by a car or something. It was so hard watching him suffer but he made it through... We foster failed and ended up adopting him now I use him as my supportive pillow :) Edit: Thanks for the support, everyone ❤️

I love how after the operation, yara was being very submissive and cuddly towards eldad out of everyone. Its like she felt ashamed of how she behaved during the rescue and realised he meant no harm.

I can not understand how some people disliked the video while animals were suffering. People just think about themselves, about money, which car should I buy etc. but other animals have to suffer & can not help themselves. greatest regards to the helpers, if i could i would help with that! love your work

I do believe that humans and animals are equal not like humans are superior over animals. We fear go against let´s say bear yet if we have dog that trusts and loves us it does not fear.

I've watched this multiple times and jump every time that warning bark happens. Nerves of steel, Eldad and Loretta.
Can't imagine why people would dislike this, he is going into there , getting down on knees and trying to rescue a life, and yet people have to show their negative aspects ,,
He could've done it better. When I rescue dogs we have better equipment, it comes across more aggressive, but manhandling the dog does reduce stress and doesn;'t let them get away.

I adopted one of those poor souls. Her name is Maizie Grace. I have mobility issues and now she is my service dog. She's wonderful!

The poor dog would have been in so much pain, running a fever, dehydrated and starving. Understandable why she was so aggressive at the rescue. Eldad rightly could not give up on her. What a wonderful outcome and no way hindered by a missing leg. God Bless Eldad and HfP.

My niece completely changed my mind about pitbulls. She has 3 and I have learned that they are just love sponges! I also want to note that a neighbor of mine growing up had a collie that would attack anything in sight, so you can't judge the dog by the breed!

If you look on Google, it will give you that information. Now I don’t have a clue who gave you that 800 death figure, but it’s grossly exaggerated. During a 12-year period (2005 to 2016) 392 Americans were killed by dog attacks. Almost 65% of those deaths came from Pit bulls (254 deaths or a little over 20 per year on average). No breed comes close to that figure. In second place was the Rottweiler at 43 deaths (11%).
One can certainly understand why Pit bulls have that reputation. They are very powerful dogs. But if people would understand that many people seek Pit bulls as guard dogs (which they are very good at) and not pets. Obviously, abusing animals can indeed make them dangerous. By using them as mostly guard dogs is another form of abuse, and because of that training they can become a lot more dangerous. I suspect that the deaths caused by Pit bulls raised in a good, loving home is small, but it certainly has and does occurred.
I hate when people give your videos thumbs down because they don’t know how much time you guys take to save these animals and money you waste to fly to the other places and drive but I always give you guys a thumbs up:)😊

I'd say you've not seen many HfP videos, so please watch as many as you can and you'll see how Eldad and the team are skilled, know their animal psychology and put the animals in minimal distress. The results are truly wonderful.

Try following him for almost 15 years watching his every video, and listening to his techniques, seeing what he'll do to make sure the animal gets rescued, making sure all their medical bills are paid for, seeing the very best specialists and doctors out there, that they are well taken care of, and finding them homes, than maybe you can come back and apologize for your stupidity.

I've watched the Hope for Paws videos a long time and he does have an "impatient" undertone, borderline pissy, in his rescues, not exhibit a truly gentle, loving presence. People in the rescue world have their own "attitude" issues, just saying.

This is the hardest dog rescue and with a terrible broken leg. This dog was a difficult and exhausting try to bring her to safety and help. What a wonderful ending to a story. Good show and God Bless all of you. Hooah!

My dad and I were walking on the street to get some bagels for brunch and then I noticed a dog that was average sized on the street and it was just laying there breathing heavily. I didn't notice it at first but I saw my dad staring at it for quite some time. I was like, dad what's wrong and he just pointed at the little guy, and it was pretty busy in the street but I could hear it's breathing heavily. I was around 9 at that time so I was scared if he'd do something but he didn't. My dad picked him up and the little guy started crying and people were looking at us, it was so hard but a friend of ours that worked in a small diner helped us out so we got him to a vet. Turned out he (it was a boy btw) was a Chinese lion dog (he was a chow chow pup back then) and had diaphragmatic hernia, so the vet assumed that he was hit by a car or something. It was so hard watching him suffer but he made it through... We foster failed and ended up adopting him now I use him as my supportive pillow :)

Those huge eyes are know as whale eyes, and it's a key sign that a dog wants to tear you a new one, to give her her dues she was in a lot of pain.
The rescuer is too impatient and that is not helpful. I really have a hard time when he makes it about him not the dog.
That look is in all pit bulls and staffis it's like a hang dog expression.
