Ok they might have been average joes but those guys made the most of there units its been a very long time since i saw cybran destroyers leave the water to actually attack a base and even longer since i saw some good UEF turtling and fatboy play hats off to the players for bringing out the best of supcom into a single match

Some of them do... others really make you realise what the difference is... Poor reclaim, not attacking in the right location when you have the advantage, not supporting gunships with air, running them straight into flak, spamming t1 naval factories when you've been given a reprieve, only to build subs (useless against destroyers) and get wiped out before you make it back into the game. There was a lot of stupid stuff going on, but I guess that's part of what makes it entertaining. Mistakes were made. :)
I am a 1500 player and I think they made me look good ;) About 300k mass in center just waiting half the game. I could go on but let's not. It was an entertaining match.
Yeah when I see the needless fatboy deaths and the entire naval fight, I think we're looking alright.

Gyle - sinus tip - I had sinusitis every few months for 5 years, and then I discovered sinus washing (neti pot style) and haven't had a single sinus infection since! It's a god send! Combine it with dilators, like spray corticosteroids and you'll go a long way to keeping those sinus openings clear and avoiding the blockages!

I don't know....i was cringing at that ASF control.
He had his moments but neither did very well with air... He used his air better than Ryo did though. Ryo spent soooo much on t2 and t3 gunships. Admittedly he did good work against the cruisers with them (but once the cruisers were clear, he never capitalised on it and allowed Ikon back again!). He never supported the gunships properly with ASF though, and for a large part of the game, he was behind on ASF production solely because of his gunship spam. At least Auflo did his job (asf production) competently. Ryo could have done so much more with his superior production early on.
well Ikonnonix only paly's navy slot on Anchor. And I dont know why red didn't make a t4 ahwassa when they have air. this game have been over a lot sooner. :D
This one was fantastic. It felt like a FAF epic when watching those 5 GC's take on all of the Megaliths. Super intense and super fun. Great vid!

I was really hoping that the UEF player would take the high ground in the upper-left and make an insane turtle base out of it - with ravagers and nuke defense and everything. That would look incredible.

I just want to point out that you are incorrect. The plural of mantis is mantises or mantes. The word is not of Latin origin and does not follow Latin structure. The plural mantids is also acceptable.
1:17:39 speaking of ungrabbed mexes those 5 in the bottom right went unclaimed for like half an hour at this point. He's even got engineers down there
Fun cast and a bit different. To your point on Patreon contributions, you gotta keep the cast rate up and gotta keep it regular. You've had a period of putting nothing up for a couple of weeks and then two at once. Those periods with nothing make people consider cutting their support and, having taken that step, they are unlikely to turn it back on immediately even if you then post two. Sure life gets in the way but you should probably do a bunch and hold some in reserve so you can always post regularly.

I know this is ancient record status now but you missed that Iko is the only Cybran on Team 2 and donated 3 Monkeys at 40m 1 died under kollers control defending Mc.
is it just me or where most ASF engage of auflo terribly micromanaged (as in propably would have been better if not microed at all?)
I got a headache watching it...
I was worried about team1 never managing to mount an attack that made a dent.
Then, as you said it best, boom baby.
I was hoping that second nuke would hit the bikini atoll.
And then the inevitable. Total air & naval control tallies up over time.
Feels like there were a lot of wasted opportunities here when a decent push would have won the game earlier (and i wanted to scream at the several-paragons-worth-of-mass not being reclaimed in the centre), but was a fun one to watch all the same.
Auflo was MVP of that match without doubt.... lowest rated player and with the exception of one Control K he kills ALL the other commanders.

50:30; "Send in the boats!"; This might not be the best course of action. Icononix has a fleet in being, Droido would need to sink allot of time and resources to win against the current fleet. Fecal Brown should have made some battleships by now, so that winning the sea becomes a real threat to the other team. Ony then, is clearing the waves of cyan the right time.

Curious, do they not use nukes a lot? I loved nukes and artillery. Not on the receiving end obviously. Is it just not worth the resources in online play? On lan games me and my brother would race to nuclear weapons first, I loved hiding the nuke subs.

If the brown cybran dude just took 1 seraphim engi and built T2 cruisers or sent a couple engis to build flak turrets on sea, this game would've been over very soon.

This game was good but I was really hoping that this game would in fact be better there were moments where either team 2 or team 1 if they had done this could of won it. Though I am glad team 2 won in the end.
Those gender confused cybran cruisers can be annoying as hell to navigate with but that push at 33:00 shows precisely what they are really good at.

is there a supreme commander mod where units get xp and veterancy? Like the "experimetal wars" mod? But i think that mod is dead, it hasn't been updated since 2011
TVG and path of veterency, both level units and buildings to god-like proportions. Like Brnk's game where he had a base deleting gunship.

This new spectate resousrec monitor window w/e it is called has very, very poor color choices. Only team 1 can be read easily, team 2 takes time. Bad UX.

Hmm DrOidio really needs to pass his license test before he's handed the keys to that naval position again. He seemed to have no idea how to play naval. If you're going t1 spam, you need to use it. If you know your opponent is rushing t2, you gotta send the frigates, or respond by going t2 yourself... Instead he did neither and repeatedly lost everything.
I think this even made them lose the entire game since brown now got all the space to keep pressuring their main bases :s
i hate when i play with people that give up (mentally) for the smallest reasons. if you gonna say GG then quit the game right after!

Epic? More like a cringe fest. Sorry guys but I don't think there was anything epic in this one. Only bad players countering worse players.

I don't know how any of these players have made it past 800. I just wanted to scream at most of them probably a good 50% of the time. from not moving in navy sooner or going t3 and destroying the bases from the pond, Mcneil not pulling back him com in the face of 2 GCs, and both of the GCs for not targeting him, Ryounske for not moving all those torps to the bottom right and targeting the com over the fac, team 2 leaving that huge reclaim field in the middle and soooo many others.
Gyle I love your casts, but this game was terrible faf gameplay. I would like to say though, in the future it would nice to see you take a look in the bases once in a while to see what the players have been doing. How well they have been ecoing vs their mirror, to see when they're building experimentals before they're complete, when nukes are being built, and just generally see whats going on there rather than just whats going on in the battlefield. That being said, I still love the casts and always look forward to them! Hope you feel better soon bud!
