What is Eco Brixs?

Eco Brixs is an organisation in Uganda that recycles plastic waste and creates job opportunities for marginalised groups, such as young people, women and people with disabilities.
This video features Eco Brixs' CEO & Founder, Andy Bownds, and fellow Ugandan team members. They explain how Eco Brixs' inclusive and circular model functions, recycling tonnes of plastic every month whilst creating job opportunities for thousands of people.
And what happens to the recycled plastic? It's either recycled into Eco-Products (eg. furniture and lumber) or sold as PET plastic flake into the recycling market, which produces items such as bottles and food packaging.
