- We went for a walk to the ancient Medina here in Meknes and it was very interesting, the set goal was the tomb of Mulay Ismael and we made our way there. A beautiful old medina and a beautiful tomb, maybe the most beautiful tomb I have ever seen. Please do follow us around, I am happy to show you.

Meknes will be great to revisit once it's done with the renovation. The guy with the chariot is the actual job he got of course he will charge a fee for the ride not to RIP you off. The price is negotiable

Great stuff!! You should definitely consider visiting Volubilis (walīlī) as well if possible. It's an ancient Roman site and the surrounding area is astonishing! It's located near Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, next to a little spot called Fertassa.

Well, most countries are different yet have similarities, Morocco has many cultural uniqueness's, I would not know where to beginn. Unfortunately I do not know Algeria which would give me a good understanding of Northern Africa. Morocco has many similarities to Tunisia but has different foods and I would say a lot more magic, but the wheels are turning, everything is going into one direction slowly.... that is very sad.

You have done a great job describing the city of meknes(which is my home town) accept before visiting any monument or sites please check the facts before your visits. A case in point is when visiting the tomb of moulay Ismail the founder of the city, you keep saying moulay idriss. Which is completely wrong. Keep the good work.

meknas is take from the old amazigh clan caled makent you can do some research about that clan not from wekipidia but from good books it was very powerful clan its belong to zenata the big mother clan
